Our main data-enrichment tool

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our sales development team needs a strong data enrichment tool. Thus, we use Cognism to look for phone numbers and emails of our prospective customers. We also get insights on who amongst our prospects are in DNC and whether the phone number is direct, mobile, or HQ. Also love that I could easily import them into SFDC.

Pros

  • They give us a headsup if the phone number is direct, mobile, or HQ
  • They advise us if the email is verified - that reduces our bounce rate.
  • They also advise us if our prospect's number is in the DNC list

Cons

  • Data are not 100% accurate, which is normal for every data enrichment tool. But at least we could flag it to them so they could improve it.
  • Sometimes, I'm having problems exporting info into SFDC.
  • Wish I could also export the contacts directly to Outreach.

  • We were able to reach prospective customers through phone or email
  • We save time not dialing office numbers, because Cognism gives us a heads up on that

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it to source up to date contact info into our CRM that we can transfer into cadencing software.

Pros

  • Adding new contacts at scale from LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Updating contact info of existing contacts in CRM

Cons

  • Pulling the actual most recent title and company into the sidebar view - It's often not the most recent job experience for the contact
  • Phone numbers are often office numbers we can't really use

  • Export from LinkedIn Sales Navigator to Salesforce CRM

Return on Investment

  • Not sure, it's just part of my workflow and I'm not the buyer, but I can easily scale outreach week over week to hit 75+ touches
