I would say Miro is like a digital play room. Whether it’s strategy, or operations, it gives a overall great solution for collaboration. Not that much useful for mobile device users, but great for workstations.

Miro is great for design sprints, strategy planning, team alignment and remote collaboration. However, it may not be that good for complex database management, or offline work. Also observed some performance issues on large boards.
Miro is a WONDERFUL collaborative tool. We use it for leading workshops, organizing our roadmaps, collaborating on retrospective feedback, and planning anything, really! Miro has a multitude of helpful pre-built templates that can spark ideas and save time instead of building from scratch. I also love that we can plan a campaign from start to finish and share the board across the marketing department to enable quick collaboration. This tool is a huge win!
Pros
Templates for Efficiency.
User-Friendly Interface.
Project Management & Agile Workflows.
Cons
While collaborating is easy, sharing a board is cumbersome if a user doesn't exit in Miro. Please make this process easier.
Not Ideal for Highly Structured Documentation.
Restricted Free Plan Collaboration.
Likelihood to Recommend
Miro is a great collaborative tool. You can host remote meetings, workshops, etc. and create a collaborative space where all can participate. I also enjoy being able to create workflows to visualize a process. On the other hand, Miro can be a pricey tool for larger groups. There does seem to be some lag when many users are on one board.

We use Miro for our daily stand up meeting. It is easy for everyone to contribute and easily visualizes what everyone is working on. We have users of all different technical acumen and all the users have been able to pick up the functionality of Miro very quickly. It is a very easy to use platform and we have added additional functionality over the years. e have added functionality to it and is is very adaptable to how our business evolves.
Pros
Easy to use interface
Visual representation of process mapping and flows
Very adaptable platform that can be configured to the individual organizations need
Cons
We have not used Miro for more complicated functions using Video or photos but looks like that would be easy to do as well
No issues or concerns
Likelihood to Recommend
It is very well suited for business process mapping, daily status meetings and is an easy to use visual representation. Most (if not all) businesses can (and should) use Miro as part of their status meetings. I have not faced a situation where it would not be appropriate. It can also be used for project planning and adding milestones while having a list or chart of who is responsible for what actions. I could also see that it would be suitable for card sorting and User Experience functions.
I am in the staffing industry, so we use Miro for organizing what jobs we have open and what stage we're at with filling them. The tag/job will be on one side of the board when it is just brought to the recruiters. From there it will get moved further to the right side as we send the resume to hiring manager, set up interviews, and finally close the req! Having this visual piece is super important for our industry so that the sales/client facing side and the recruiters can be in synch and have open communication.
Pros
Easy/simple to use
User friendly
Great visual
Cons
Lagging (only sometimes)
More customizability for more advanced users
Likelihood to Recommend
If you are working with a team and need communication on progress and timelines then it's a great tool. If you don't have any cross functional collaboration it wouldn't be as useful.

Account Manager in Information Technology (Staffing & Recruiting company, 10,001+ employees)
I use Miro to create boards for brainstorming and planning activities. Since our organization has team members all over the world, Miro makes collaboration easy when running sessions. I prefer the online method for these planning and brainstorming sessions as they are easier to facilitate with all of the great features like stickies, voting, and timers!
Pros
Miro's interface is very intuitive and easy to use.
Online collaboration and the ability to send invites to team members are excellent.
Not having a limit to the board canvas is excellent, so you can add as much content as you like.
Cons
It would be great to see improvements in AI for sorting and cleaning data to isolate common themes and remove duplicates.
It would be great for users to be able to submit their templates for others to use.
Some in-product help would be great for the AI feature for tips on how to use it.
Likelihood to Recommend
Miro is really great for team collaboration. We have many remote team members, and Miro makes it easy and intuitive for us to run planning sessions where everyone can participate and see in real-time what everyone else is doing. Miro is good for planning, but not really great for execution. Getting ideas on a board is simple, but then moving them through the process has to be done somewhere else.
