Overall Satisfaction with Miro
The Digital Engagement group at RGP, Inc uses Miro for technical documentation, SFLC planning, workflow analysis and team building exercises. It is invaluable for building a knowledge base and collaborative information exchange.
Pros
- Editing boards is intuitive and simple
- Collaboration for team exercises are easy
- Security: Ability to share information to effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Cons
- We use "buzzers" for some team interactions. It would be nice to this directly in Miro
- Better UML Sequence diagraming capabilities. Editing that is specific to this type of diagram.
- Unfortunately, we don't have quantitative data on ROI but qualitatively it has improved team communication and overall knowledge base management.
The ability to collaborate and capture this collaboration effectively is Miro main value proposition for us.
- Mural and Microsoft Visio
Miro stacks up well against tools mentioned. It is intuitive and simply to get started. The minimal learning curve allows resources to become productive without any formal training.
