Log reporting on Celonis internally (pipeline monitoring, notification monitoring)
Automation to certain third party applications
Automated documentation of data pool (extraction, scripts, parameters) and dashboards (views, knowledge models etc.)
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for process analysis; deep dive into what you are doing. Less suited for heavy automation use cases; in our experience other tools are more suited for this.

Celonis is used in all major processes in my organization to get transparency and to analyse and optimize the process. Celonis is also used in achieving process standardization, Proactive alerts, deviation flagging, Business Executive dashboarding and is now an integral part of our organization. We are specifically focusing on cross functional points of the process, which are usually the bottlenecks. We are also now focussing on mapping these end-to-end processes to achieve further improvements.
Pros
Helps to obtain a clear understanding of the process execution by bringing utmost transparency in the process
Provides functionalities to act proactively to avoid delays and further causes of process deviations and bottlenecks
Aids to standardize end-to-end processes.
Functionality to connect to multiple systems in the IT Architecture and hence achieve efficient and fluid process executions.
Cons
Documentation of the features in Celonis needs to updated regularly
Customizable low-code setup for standard Organizational processes
Better support for End-to-End process documentation
Likelihood to Recommend
Celonis caters different needs of different business involved in the process. It is extremely useful for Process Analysts to delve into the process for identifying root cause of Pain points. It supports to get an overview of key metrics for Management. It helps to standardize and redesign processes. Identify dependencies of a single entity and aids to understand the impact of an entirely different vertical onto to the current focus of analysis. The Object Centric visualizations and Process Adherence Manager gives a great digital twin of the processes in the Organization.

Our organization has several streams for the Celonis implementation, from the procure-to-pay process to the HR process. As an internal audit department, we use Celonis for audit purposes, particularly for the verification of double payments and the maverick buying for the AFC Process. Business problems are managing the big data stored in our application systems more efficiently.
Pros
mapping of processes starting from data
automatically extracts some Key Control Indicators
automatic data analysis
Cons
expanding their activities to offer a complete suite of services
Likelihood to Recommend
I feel that the Celonis team should study the best cases to be applied as a starting point of cooperation (quick win points) and explain the opportunities the suite can offer to maximize the advantages gained from applying Celonis to day-to-day operations or monitoring purposes.
I use Celonis to improve financial and accounting processes in our organization; we are using it to find bottlenecks that impair automation in our processes. By using Celonis, we can easily find the Vendors, Document types, etc, and other attributes that are affecting the processes with more manual work.
Pros
Process Mining
Process Enhancement
Process Discovery
Cons
UI
Loading Times
Technicality
Likelihood to Recommend
Celonis is well suited for both standardized processes and unstandardized processes. For the former, Celonis is good for discovering the relevant attributes that are unstandardized or require extra attention from the team. For the latter, Celonis is good for discovering the actual processes and what type of variants one can find.

Cons
Better Quick Start Training
More in person training offerings
easier access to help
Likelihood to Recommend
Great: Understanding business processes and opportunities for improvement in a meaningful way Opportunity: Ability to do more on-the-fly analysis as a business user...a bit more interface flexibility at the end-user level.
I use Celonis to identify pain points in maintenance and reliability applications. We use it to track and analyze work orders (both preventive and corrective) to look for stalled items, re-work, etc.
Pros
Visual representation of processes
Finding hard-to-identify problems
Cons
More clarity as to the back-end data would be good
Likelihood to Recommend
Celonis is very useful for 'set it and forget it'. Once rules and data models are established, you can largely ignore it and let it bring you the data you need. Celonis could be more adaptable to occasions that aren't classified as 'events', which it currently doesn't handle very well.

We use it for a number of process reports and insights. We are in the process of creating numerous dashboards to extract KPIs in real-time rather than snapshots. We are doing this for many procure-to-pay processes to determine if we're following process or deviating as well as being able to report on our metrics.
Pros
Real-time data
Intuitive user-friendly displays
Straight-forward to build new reports
Cons
Easier join functionality between disparate tables
Likelihood to Recommend
Real-time process mining. Excellent at visually mapping out processes
