Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use ScienceLogic SL1 to monitor and keep tracks of all the alerts. We have created a dashboard in ScienceLogic SL1 which helps us to identify us which site has went down and which service is affected. With this it helps us to reach out to a particular team to resolve and rectify the issues at the earliest. Also with the alerts generation we will be able to know if the issues is resolved or still ongoing.

- It is user friendly
Cons
- In the unified view we have widget as HTML, it would be better if there is any room for other coding areas
- It could be good if we could schedule time for suppression like how we have for maintenance window
- I could think of only these 2 for now

Pros
- It is a multi-tenant platform and customer traffic segregated
- It is easy to use monitoring platform
- It has bidirectional integration between ScienceLogic SL1 and ServiceNow
- It also has bidirectional integration between ScienceLogic SL1 and Restorepoint
Cons
- SSH Password Management for the servers need to be added to ScienceLogic SL1 for the STIG systems. ScienceLogic is unable to help anything with changing SSH passwords every 60 days especially when we have large number of collectors.
- ScienceLogic should develop a contextual help page for each page for on-prem ScienceLogic SL1. It is currently directing to internet and there is no outside connection to get help from ScienceLogic SL1 page.
