Rippling is primarily used by our HR team and employees for time tracking, payroll management, and sick/leave requests. Before Rippling, we had employees submitting their hour totals through various mediums. Rippling centralized everything and has made my life so much easier! I was reluctant to use a time-tracking platform, but it really is exceptional and has amazing features that have made my payroll process so much easier. I truly cannot recommend this product enough!

Three different options to view the hours you've worked in a pay period. All three are valuable in their own way! I love this and use each one every week.
Rippling has the option to retroactively log your hours later if you forget to log in before you start work. I love this because sometimes I take a work call on the go and don't have time to clock in first. Such a handy feature!
Rippling has also made putting in time-off requests (sick/PTO/etc) so much easier. I'm sure every HR team would appreciate this!

The app has frequent updates. Not necessarily a bad thing - just annoying to click the "update" button often.

Rippling has been fantastic for me as I work for two entities. I can easily alternate between the two for time-tracking purposes on Rippling, whereas I used to do it manually by hand. This has made submitting my hour totals for payroll so much easier. Rippling is probably less useful for those who are salary and don't need to track their hours as meticulously as I do.
In our organization, Rippling serves as a centralized platform for managing a wide range of HR and IT functions. We primarily use it for employee onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration. We provide associates with this information by using Rippling since it is an easy way for them to access this information from here. It is very educational in terms of details, most of which they need to know and have on file.

My business uses Rippling to manage employees, salaries, and organizational charts.
This tool is probably the most used and helpful for us, we can quickly identify team members, find their information, and organize teams. At the moment, I personally use this tool to verify not only my personal information and how my data is managed, also I'm able to have my team organized and see other teams across the organization.
I have the option to organize per role, send promotions, schedule updates, and divide teams per leader.

I would say it would be beneficial for the updates to be done quicker when making organizational changes, other than that this tool works wonders for us.

There was no easy-to-find guidance offered for how to get a reimbursement from your HSA.

Only reason I didn't mark it a 10 was the issue with finding an explanation when I searched for it for how to request an HSA reimbursement. I found all sorts of other topics, but not the simplest and most common one: needing an HSA reimbursement.
We use Rippling as our payroll provider. I run salary, hourly, contactors and one-time personnel payments through Rippling. We have between 10-15 employees per year, with 2-5 contractors. Rippling is able to track our employees benefits and give them and management a view at any time. We can add benefits which we are in the process of doing now such as 403(b) plan and health benefits.

Provides a payroll comparison with prior payroll per employee to see the differences, thus noting payroll changes that may be troubling.

Rippling could provide some help in determining exemption of employees in states other than our state of incorporation.
Assistance in setting up the payroll accounts in states. They leave this to the organization saying just "provide us with the account numbers."
Provide editable forms that can become the company's standards for things like onboarding, employment offer, some policies acceptances and things like that.

Rippling makes payroll easy with one, two, three steps. Then there is the payroll comparison that helps identify variances from the prior payroll. This is useful so that we understand why amounts change, and can approve or fix. Rippling had a problem when the data from the prior payroll provider was not accurate. It took multiple attempts to resolve the issue even for 59 cents. They would not drop the case even though it was cost prohibitive for them and us. It cost $100 extra fees not to mention the man HOURS to resolve.
We use Rippling for our payroll, timeclock and benefits. This addresses problems of having multiple applications to do all three jobs. Having the ability to clock in and out, submit PTO and see time off for holidays in one place is helpful. Benefits are also in one area which makes it super easy to look at updated benefit plan and OPM amounts. All of this makes payroll less stressful with it all being integrated into 1 app.

I would 100% recommend. We have never had any issues with this application. Payroll is always smooth. We always are able to see up to date benefit info as well as time off info. If there ever is an issue, the support team is very quick to respond and resolve issue.

I enjoy the fact that I can use this app for multiple functions. Scheduling, training, time tracking, vacation requests it is all there as an option on this app. I and many of my colleagues have noticed that submitting time cards on the phone, the period of which we view hours is weekly on the app although we get paid bi weekly. It would be nice to see our hours in this format too.

Rippling is still new to our company. I have found it to be much more user friendly than the app we used previously. I enjoy the multi functionalism of this app being able to get multiple areas of the workplace on one app. Previously, we had 3 apps that all served a unique purpose, now we have Rippling which offers all 3 of these in one app.
I use Rippling to efficiently track my working hours and ensure accurate timekeeping. It also helps streamline my onboarding process and manage payroll seamlessly. It also allows me to distribute my payroll across multiple bank accounts, giving me flexibility in managing my finances. Rippling also allows employees to request for time off and manage it efficiently.

It's very convenient to use as it has a mobile app where you can track it anytime you want. As I mentioned in previous points, Rippling allows us to look at the various HR analytics and, in my personal experience, it has made the hiring process easier for me and the recruiters on my team. In addition to facilitating the hiring process, Rippling gives me the ability to see the feasibility of candidates in certain positions, which allows me to offer them other jobs if necessary.
