Webex Calling - A great Collaboration App
Overall Satisfaction with Webex Calling
I use Webex Calling as a Collaboration tool. I can use this app in order to make calls, send a recieved Webex Meeting and also to connect to other person out of the company by Webex (if he/she has it). Webex Calling also is useful to call people from my PSTN without any issue!
Pros
- Call people inside or outside the company
- Webex Meeting
- Chat and collaborate with other members of the team
Cons
- Sharing content is fine however sometimes the share content is a little bit tiny, the zoom option does not appear easily
- When you receive and internal call and this person call you with video camera on, this call activate your camera. There is an option to disactivate it but it is not so easy to find it.
- When you are in a Webex Meeting sometime is not easy to find the windows chat.
- We reduce costs on outsite calls using Webex VoIP calling feature (Positive)
- Just one App is used for calling and sharing content so we save costs. (Positive)
- Calling reports is very useful for us to monitor calls that we make and recieved.
Webex is an evolution from Cisco Jabber. We used Cisco Jabber in the past however since we migrated from Jabber to Webex Calling we had been a great difference between the two apps. In my opinion, Webex Meeting is better than Cisco Jabber in terms of unification on a single app. Webex Calling is incredibly simple to use and available on every platform.
