Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

We use Rippling For our employees to Manage their Time Clocks and PTO as well as View their Pay checks and Benefits all in one place. There are about 40 employees here and we need a system like this to facilitate the communication of these things in a more efficient manor and official capacity.

Pros

  • All employee benefits are in one easily digestible place
  • Easily managed PTO system, not overly complicated. not overly simple
  • Easy way for Employees to recommend people or apply for open positions through the recruiting tab

Cons

  • Clock in process could be streamlined, not sure why people need to choose a job to clock in for when they only have the one on their account
  • Purple and yellow color scheme is an odd choice but not a serious factor
  • While I am not in a position to quote hard numbers at the moment this is the best HR management system we have tried
While ultimately selecting Rippling Was a decision made above my level and The other systems I have used were at other companies I can say There is just not a fair comparison, I actually had more companies to list here like Zamp HR but they aren't even included in your list which makes sense. I gett he feeling that Rippling is designed for much larger operations.

There are a few streamlining things that I would prefer for My use case Like reducing the number of selections necessary before clocking in But I understand that for employees that may have multiple jobs that use Rippling or or for someone who works for a parent company with lots of subsidiaries these features would be useful. but this is by no means a major issue for me
Having used other HR systems in the past I prefer the way Rippling presents Information to employees, previous systems I have used have had rather confusing methods of displaying clocked in hours (Rippling as multiple options) or had the benefits section buried in menus so I would need to help other employees navigate their systems whenever they needed access to that info. I've also had systems that would include or not include days in the timeclock for a pay-period that either were or were not supposed to be there. leading to employees believing they had not been paid for certain days when they actually had been just in a different pay period.
