monday.com is a Staple in our Software Diet
Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
It's our platform for managing client projects and our own marketing projects and programs. I can't imagine operating without it! For both client projects and our own work, it does a wonderful job of enabling us to track detailed tasks, remind ourselves automatically of what needs to be done and when, and so on. This applies to training, onboarding clients, creating blogs, social media posts, marketing emails, the works. We all operate remotely so the ability to collaborate and share information and updates online is huge.
Pros
- Automated reminders for tasks
- Ability to assign tasks to multiple people
- Ease of moving tasks/groups and archiving and retrieving boards
- Integrating with Google sheets (this has been big for us for having client boards with Google sheets with content for projects
- Having the option of private boards for users (not using currently but we did for a while)
Cons
- Would be good to move the divider between the sidebar and boards themselves -- some board names are long, we can't see them in their entirety
- Would love to see a general/main way to add notes to a board -- and/or group -- about a project. We like having boards with tasks, but there's no place to pin a note at the top that would be useful to refer to
- Do more with the HubSpot integration
- It's enabled us to operate with a remote team
- We have fewer meetings because we can collaborate/share information and content online
- We are always prepared for client meetings because we track project tasks (completed, in process, waiting for client, etc.)... and it means we can easily fill in for one another since the status of a project is always in monday.com
Day in and day out, we can rely on all the automations and notifications... that's key because everything we do is deadline-driven.
We have certain processes set up so we can easily copy groups/boards and update them when we start working with a new client... that's a big efficiency.
I don't think we've ever experienced downtime with monday.com.
