Review by a UX Researcher
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I am working in an IT company as a UX Researcher. I mainly use Miro for synthesizing and presenting my research results. It visualizes well the topics I want to share but not in all use cases f.e. when I want to play a snippet from a user interview. With Miro Talk, I can easily share my thoughts about the research result without organizing a meeting for that purpose since my stakeholders usually busy and they don't have time for additional meeting.
Pros
- Miro Talk function to share my thought on a topic
- Templates for various use cases
- Easily presenting and interpreting at first sight the research results
Cons
- Represent and able to play video snippets on the canvas
- Less expensive because unfortunately, our company chose other product due to cost reductions
- Better connection with Dovetail where I store and analyze the raw data - e.g. interview video + transcript
- Improved productivity
- Improved presentation of research results
- Improved presentation of hierarchical systems (e.g. jobmap)
We created together a jobmap and remotely we could adjust it or comment on some parts of it to let others know about or suggestion. When we have retro, we also use Miro board to share our thoughts about our collaboration like what went well, what we could do better next time and so on.
