Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to collaborate with users in other countries. The tool is fantastic for brainstorming new projects or to problem solve. I have also used the tool for interactive trainings and workshops whenever I need multiple users to input their ideas. At a lesser extent, I have done some task management to control initiatives and progress.

Pros

  • Flowcharts
  • Mind Maps
  • Color and importing images
  • presentation mode
  • timer options

Cons

  • Sticky notes. Unable to change font Style.
  • Sticky notes. Cannot change text color
  • Tables. Cannot move blocks when there is overlap
  • Improved productivity
It has been used across the organization. It is a fantastic tool that helps us to collaborate with each other, exchange ideas and draft plans. As a start of a project, there are options to help with planning and working on the breakdown structure. The kanban tool makes a lot of sense for follow ups.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well Suited: Virtual workshops, virtual collaboration and brainstoming with with virtual teams. It is good also for local teams.
Less appropriate: Task or project management. Maybe it is not the intent of the tool, but there are some tasks that can be managed using tables and other tools; they are still hard to implement and time consuming.
