Zoominfo Marketing - Make your budget work smarter not harder!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ZoomInfo MarketingOS helps with creation of demand, it also targets and generates targets and converts leads into customers using insights and engaging through multiple forms, including social media, email, text, etc. ZoomInfo Marketing also converts sites into digital assets using unique chat, interaction, and data capturing, which really helps bolster customer conversion and increase synergy with acquisition teams.

Pros

  • helps show customers the benefits and data from marketing efforts
  • fine tuned tracking of customer website interactions
  • Excellent customer service that goes beyond what we usually see
  • easily customizable as well for users

Cons

  • Does not fully integrate sales and marketing, so some work and translation is still required.
  • this is a complicated tool, and requires a rather long time to train employees to use properly.
  • no training included, and the price is a bit high
  • Does not integrate the same across all internet browser programs

Return on Investment

  • Zoominfo Marketing has allowed us to reduce our marketing budget with increased results by almost 20% less in cost and significantly better capture of what customers are reacting to our marketing outreaches
  • Marketing data can now be easily gathered, and made into useful information for our sales teams
  • We have double the data essentially, as we already had inbound tracking, but ZoomInfo gives us a fine lens over our outbound marketing. We can also follow up more directly with those customers, as opposed to guessing who or when to reach out to in the past.

Usability

Return on Investment

We find these as granular data we did not have in the past, we have click counters and website trackers. But for campaigns, B2B standalone communications, general social campaigns DSP, retargeting, and form + acceleration we did not have a tool.

Since we've started using this we have seen double-digit increases in the direct return on expenditures from marketing. Sales has also increased its % of closing and reduced the amount of time needed to spend "qualifying and attracting" existing leads.

Collect & Start Prospect Emails - today!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ZoomInfo Marketing to identify and engage with prospects - we create a lot of specific lists to narrow down prospects. Weekly notifications and intent signals help us narrow down our search criteria.

Pros

  • Intent signals - weekly notifications to contact new prospects
  • Workflow - sends us companies/contacts within our criteria
  • Website links - ability to see who is on our website and what pages they are browsing

Cons

  • If the Workflows could connect to a HubSpot sequence - that would be great
  • Allowing for more than 3 workflows in our package
  • More than 6 intent signals in our package

Return on Investment

  • We have found a lower CPC across our pages
  • Tracking characteristics on types of businesses on our pages - also very close to our dream persona
  • Build a weekly workflow internally between sales and marketing to use the incoming contacts and increasing number of qualified leads to hand off to sales

Usability

Return on Investment

We have found it to be the most useful in feeding targeted audiences at the top of your funnel is gold because they are cultivated from filters that are defined by our company's ideal persona. And to take it to the next level as our team comes up with new strategies and partners to collaborate with, we can immediately create a list, produce a sequence in HS, and start the project that day. I really like fast results.

Highly-Personalized Advertising to the Right People at the Right Time.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ZoomInfo Marketing has given us a new way to target our decision-makers and serve them with highly personalized digital advertising across display and social media. Prior to using ZI Marketing, digital advertising felt like a waste of money - we had no way to prove that our ads were being seen by the right people, and we were constantly fighting bots and click fraud. Using ZoomInfo Marketing gives you the ability to target companies using ZoomInfo's best-in-class business intelligence, allowing us to target the right people at the right time. I now feel confident that our target buyers are getting our ads, and as a result, this has made our advertising engagement metrics far more meaningful.

Pros

  • Targeted Digital Advertising.
  • Onboarding and Customer Success.
  • ABM Advertising Strategy.

Cons

  • Managing Ad Spend & Billing.
  • Built-in Reporting Across Campaigns.
  • Managing Large Number of Active Campaigns.

Return on Investment

  • We can identify and qualify MQLs based on ad interaction using ZI's data—previously, we could only generate MQLs from form fills.
  • Targeted 1:1 ad campaign has converted 60%+ of accounts.
  • Reduce our ad spend by 40%, no longer spending money on non-targeted advertising.

Usability

Return on Investment

B2B DSP has allowed us to serve 1:1 ad campaigns to companies already deep in our sales process. We create custom campaigns that address specific pain points and serve the ads only to that one company. Those ads have great engagement, and 60% of accounts that have been enrolled in a 1:1 campaign have converted into clients. This is the first time we've attributed some actual success to our digital advertising program.

ZoomInfo Marketing - A tool I can't work without

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ZoomInfo Marketing gives us the opportunity to target specific companies or groups of people. The online tools such as websights, intent, workflows and lists allows us to build various audiences for the ads. We can combine the audiences and add filters to get to our perfect list for ads. The report tool allows us to easily see how our ads are performing and if adjusts are needed.

Pros

  • The ease of campaign creation is amazing! I can get a campaign set up in just a few minutes.
  • The reporting allows us to easily see the performance of our ads. There is no guesswork.
  • I love being able to create audiences from ZoomInfo tools such as Websights, intent, workflows and lists. This allows us to target a very specific audience that we otherwise would not have access to.

Cons

  • I much prefer the websights in ZoomInfo Sales over ZoomInfo Marketing. Websights within Sales allows you to click on the company to then see specific page views. Marketing does not have this option. I usually toggle between both when looking at ad performance which is annoying and time consuming.
  • You can now click on a company name when looking at campaign results which is great, I wish this would go a step further and be able to see the full company profile available through the Sales platform.
  • I wish you could also see an image of the ad when clicking to view a campaign. You have to go in and edit the campaign to be able to see the image.

Return on Investment

  • We have seen an increase in quotes from customers that we considered "lost". We had not had communication with them in over a year. After we ran ads to this group, we received several quotes totaling $33,000.
  • Our alignment between the sales and marketing teams has never been better. We track activity of current and potential customers through websights and intent, sharing this with our sales team.
  • We are now able to increase efforts with targeting specific attack companies. Before ZI, this took a lot more work and was not a common practice for us.

Usability

Return on Investment

The retargeting feature within ZoomInfo Marketing has way more options than our other ad platforms. We always have a retargeting ad set up to target specific companies from high ranking pages on our website. This allows us to stay in front of people who have not completed the contact form on our website.

Automation and Ads Working Together

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

[...] uses ZoomInfo Marketing to draw awareness to our brand to new and existing accounts. We use this tool as a means to keep our product and services at the top of our current clients minds and to bring in new customers who might not have heard of us. We also aim to build our business side of our brand through the ads as most know us for our certifications and education side. Pairing ZoomInfo Marketing and ZoomInfo Sales together has been a seamless process that just has made sense for our organization and sales teams.

Pros

  • Automated Workflows
  • Ad Targeting
  • Audience Building

Cons

  • Salesforce attribution connectivity
  • International reach

Return on Investment

  • Increased site visits
  • Alignment between sales and marketing
  • Targeting better outbound leads

Usability

Return on Investment

Automation was our biggest goal in moving to ZoomInfo Marketing and being able to automatically add accounts that were showing intent, increasing in site visits or ad engagement, and adding them to an email outbound campaign - and ZoomInfo Marketing has made that possible. FormComplete was another area that we were interested in as to help increase our form fills, the integration has been more challenging, but we are experiencing more form fills from it.
