Usability

Survey Monkey is a great surveying software for small businesses

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use SurveyMonkey for both gathering feedback from our employees, as well as our clients. It is a great way for us to communicate with and get feedback from employees before making a business decision that may have an impact on them - or just to see how they feel about certain aspects or changes within the business.

Pros

  • Easy to use interface.
  • Robust design features for survey variations.
  • Great free plan.

Cons

  • More customization for forms colors/design on free plan.
  • Analytics and reporting could be revamped.
  • UX could be improved.

Return on Investment

  • It helped to determine if our business was going to switch to a new payroll software based on the employee feedback of whether one of its main features would actually be wanted or not.
  • It helps to improve individual instructor's classes based on survey feedback from our clients.
  • It helped us to gauge the interest in whether or not a pool of people wanted to become instructors.

[In My Opinion, I Think They're] Frauds - [I believe You Should] Be Careful [of] the Renewal Conditions

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

[In my experience,] the SurveyMonkey team decided to push through the renewal without our consent, and [I believe they] are now providing false information concerning the renewal conditions. [In my opinion, you should] please note that their conditions do not respect Consumer Laws. [I feel that] this is considered fraud. [Because of our experience,] we recently decided to cancel our renewal subscription because our teams using the survey functionalities [feel that] the product [is] archaic and very costly for what it provides. [I believe] other products in the market do a better job for less. We are now turning to other products and companies that are worthy of our business. [Personally,] we do not tolerate fraud and misuse of consumer conditions.

Pros

  • Building a question

Cons

  • [I believe that the] renewal conditions [could be done differently].
  • [I think that the] survey functionality beyond the questions [is] archaic and dysfunctional.
  • [In my opinion, the] graphs are rudimentary and are not usable when presenting results.

Return on Investment

  • [In my experience, the] data is very hard to manage to help bring [it to a] consensus. For a 5 minute survey, [I believe there is] too much work outside of the application [that] has to be done to reconstruct the data.
