Great tool for Expense Reports
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Our organization uses SAP Concur for expense management and travel bookings. It is an easy way for employees to submit expenses for reimbursement in a streamlined way. It also has great travel booking processes built in so that employees can easily book work related travel with all the best options available.
Pros
- Easy for employees to track and submit expense reports
- Built in approval processes for expense report approvals
- Simple to book business related travel to find the best options
Cons
- It is not very straightforward on how to add in loyalty programs. I've had several instances where my loyalty programs don't carry through with my booking
- Expense reports are tedious to build, especially when you have several expenses to enter from a company trip
- The new AI functions for reading uploaded receipts has never worked for me, requiring me to do it manually anyways
Return on Investment
- Employees are reimbursed fast because of the automated approval processes
- Less time managing reimbursement via spreadsheets or emails
- Better tracking of expenses across the organization
