Rippling is primarily used by our HR team and employees for time tracking, payroll management, and sick/leave requests. Before Rippling, we had employees submitting their hour totals through various mediums. Rippling centralized everything and has made my life so much easier! I was reluctant to use a time-tracking platform, but it really is exceptional and has amazing features that have made my payroll process so much easier. I truly cannot recommend this product enough!

Pros

  • Three different options to view the hours you've worked in a pay period. All three are valuable in their own way! I love this and use each one every week.
  • Rippling has the option to retroactively log your hours later if you forget to log in before you start work. I love this because sometimes I take a work call on the go and don't have time to clock in first. Such a handy feature!
  • Rippling has also made putting in time-off requests (sick/PTO/etc) so much easier. I'm sure every HR team would appreciate this!

Cons

  • The app has frequent updates. Not necessarily a bad thing - just annoying to click the "update" button often.

Rippling is used for payroll, HR management and reporting, expense management, and creating time off approvals. This tool has been helpful for us because we are a growing company with employees in several different countries, and we need a unified solution to ensure that employees are on the same page and creating consistency.

Pros

  • Friendly UI Design for Mobile and Web.
  • Makes it easy to create time offs.
  • Makes the home page intuitive and easy to navigate.

Cons

  • Could clarify what is being asked when creating expense reports.
  • It could make 2FA more intuitive on mobile, such as allowing iPhone users to use Face ID as an alternative if the device is locked.
  • Overall avoid using too much jargon when asking questions.

It has streamlined our HR operations. Employees can easily apply for time off, track balances, and get approvals. it simplifies leave tracking and approvals.

We use Rippling for HR purposes, payroll, and spend management. My use case is mostly in the spend management domain, assessing the business expenses of everyone in our organization and syncing the expense data over to our accounting and donor database software to ensure that we can meet legal reporting requirements properly.

Pros

  • Having an intuitive website layout
  • Spelling out required tasks for new hires
  • The customer service team is super kind and responsive

Cons

  • They give me way more tasks to complete than is necessary for me specifically
  • Their accounting sync needs to be able to group reimbursements by the day they were paid out
  • The color scheme is a bit uninspired

Return on Investment

  • Saves us a ton of money per month on reimbursements (we don't have to pay anything)
  • Really useful integration into our accounting software for the most part
  • We were able to add spend management functionality on top of our existing payroll system

Rippling has a huge role in managing the workforce from joining to leaving the company; everything we do is managed on this platform. It is a very useful platform that we use daily. We do multiple things in this platform, like HR, Payroll, IT, Vendor, Travel, expenses, attendance, leaves, Organisation chart, and many more. Some important works are as follows: 1. Very useful to HR, onboarding any candidate, their Offer letter, all terms and conditions, and much more, HR can handle by using this platform. 2. Payroll: Attendance, leave, salary, Organisation chart management, and much more. 3. Vendor and contractor management by using this tool. By and large, I can say this is all in one solution for all your business needs in a single click. I personally suggest that any organisation should use this platform for better workforce management.
