Powerful tool for analysis and reporting

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Pigment had very many benefits that assisted us in the completion of many of our routine reporting and controlling tasks. First, as the source for the reporting numbers, we deploy integration into other tools. In Pigment, it would have been easy to schedule updates on the reports eliminating the challenges of having to do the updates manually while populating 100% matching values. One more advantage is the access rights on the sheet: it is very sensitive and offers the functionality that basic Google Sheets do not possess. Also, the generation of various versions of the same report aids in satisfying the various demands from the stakeholders. Before proceeding, it is also necessary to describe how support in Pigment works. They are very responsive and we get quick responses to our questions and often attempts are made to fix problems quickly.

Pros

  • Helping organizations assess the impacts of various business decisions effectively
  • Seamlessly integrates with multiple data sources
  • Collaboration with other teams and teammates

Cons

  • Learning path is difficult, new users will need more time to learn about the plaform
  • Lacks pre-built templates like other tools
  • More advanced reporting features could be helpful

Return on Investment

  • Reduced the time our finance team spends on data preparation and consolidation
  • Planning capabilities have improved our decision making processes
  • Improved collaboration of our sales, hr and finance teams
