It's a clean system and user friendly with specific tiles that give a nice overview of the main actions an employee or leaders would check daily as a pulse point. We love the EE time off calendar so there aren't TOO many requests to leave us at a disadvantage

We use Paylocity for all HR, Payroll, and Benefit processing needs. Business problems the product addresses are our K-1 employees and their tax deductions, problems we've had with benefits from outside sources being uploaded and processed into Paylocity, and payroll processing needs.

Paylocity could improve with the changes constantly being made to the software. Sometimes it's hard to find where things have been moved to after these changes.

Paylocity is very user friendly and the help feature is amazing! If you can't find the answers in the help feature, calling and speaking to a representative is always really easy and the representatives are extremely helpful.

Paylocity was the solution for our growing small business needs. The setup was easy and the staff were very helpful. Running payroll is very streamlined. With employees in several different states they helped us get everything setup for all of our tax needs.

Paylocity is an affordable solution for our small business. We have found the on boarding process to be very easy and our employees love the interactive dashboard. Tax reporting has been slightly complicated due to having employees in multiple states.
My company uses Paylocity for onboarding, payroll, time and labor, reporting, and e-verify. The software allows our company to automate many of the tedious HR tasks involved with onboarding and payroll.

Paylocity does a great job of automating the payroll process, taking care of quarterly taxes, and onboarding. However, the tax team is very slow to communicate or give updates and the timecard functionality is not as user friendly as other aspects of the software.
Primarily for payroll and personnel document storage, we were very unhappy with ADP and switched to a solution that was easier to use and offered better features.

Branding isn't great - There are some generic visuals on our site that we would prefer to change or design ourselves, and look circa 1990.

Again, the branding here could be way, way better, and some details around functionality could be improved (mainly personnel development, etc.)
We primarily use Paylocity for running semi-monthly payroll in which we also use time and labor regularly. We use workflows, performance, surveys and recruiting occasionally but not as often as payroll.

Paylocity seems good for regular payroll processing. We recently had a more complex payroll that got squirrelly and customer service has been a challenge to work with. Different reps will tell you different things depending on who you get when you call. When you finally get a rep that knows how to assist, it is difficult to reach out to them directly for continued support. Our issue rests with the tax team which is impossible to get in contact with directly. They are like a mythical team that is supposedly assisting on the back end, but you cannot get clarification from them if you have questions.
