Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Everything! From onboarding to training and annual refreshers for compliance with funders, grantors and CA! It helps us mainstream timekeeping, training, employee actions and evaluations processes across our system

Pros

Cons

  • Integration with more software partners like Legal Server
  • Audits for errors in the system
  • Celebratory benchmarks for admin who are on track for timely evaluations
  • Flag and potential negative balance from requests that were approved but circumstances changed...somehow we get - Admin time and can't figure out how it is happening
  • Annual report card for the organization and time spent/actions/hires/terms ONE PAGE
  • Same annual report to tie to EE evaluations and include the benefits, salary for the BIG picture of how our organization advocates for staff
  • I am not sure if this is user error but we end of with negative accruals...Admin time specifically
  • Would like to see some automatic reporting that goes to EEs and managers so we are not relying on them to dig/pull up themselves
  • Prompts for evaluations with increasing importance
We do not use he scheduling currently but see that as the greatest opportunity for our growing organization. We have 98 staff spread out over three counties and 4 towns. We anticipate those numbers to increase so a more defined idea and metrics on coverage for each team across the system would help and might also bring in additional funding to close service gaps in our non profit sector
I don't think many people outside of the Senior Leadership team use it...unfortunately for whatever reason. At other organizations, I have seen more tangible options to celebrate achievement and allow or peer to peer shout outs. Wish there was a way to take it higher....like a WORD CLOUD on a large screen in the break room or conference room where anything entered n Paylocity would be cast in that for viewing
I have been with my current organization for 2 years and am still learning but I think it's a great option for most of our needs. Aside from integration with billable software, I think we are in a decent place for a team our size

It's a clean system and user friendly with specific tiles that give a nice overview of the main actions an employee or leaders would check daily as a pulse point. We love the EE time off calendar so there aren't TOO many requests to leave us at a disadvantage
