We use Paycor for our payroll, onboarding, and Benefits Administration.

Our prior payroll company was not a good partner and we had a lot of issues, so we moved to Paycor to help us get things on track.

It Streamlined our processes and saves us at least 15-20 hours a week of manual entry/verification time.

We use it for payroll and benefits management.

Pros

Payroll flexibility - offering the ability to add additional payrolls or make temporary one-time changes to each employee.
Timekeeping flexibility - we're willing to adjust our timekeeping to match our current practices.
They understand our demographic - church, non-profit and our unique tax implications.

Cons

They can be buggy. When employees log in, they frequently encounter issues, such as being unable to log in, navigating to the required page, entering time, or requesting vacation. At times, I need to do these things for employees who are unable to get Paycor to work for them.
Inflexibility in performance reviews.
Inability to impersonate an employee to help them.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Paycor for PTO, employee handbooks and documentation, W2s, pay stubs, company notifications and tasks. I use Paycor most often to submit pto and check my balace of future days off. I also often look for documents such as the company holiday and payroll calendar. All of this is organized neatly in one place and is easy to navigate. A nice feature is an engage board on your homescreen where employees can give kudos and shoutouts to other team members for the whole company to see and engage with

i would prefer my outlook calendar be linked to the My Schedule section
i would prefer my hourly and yearly rate be easily visible

We used the Payroll, ATS and Recruitment, LMS tools, and the performance tools at 8 of our manufacturing plants after using another product that was not easy to use
