It provides a single point of management for user identities, allows us to utilize SSO user groups to access applications easily, and we particularly appreciate the ability to enforce consistent password policies that have led to a significantly increased operational efficiency, a stronger security posture, and a much simpler, more scalable access management experience.

I use Okta to manage to manage multiple logins to my company apps and it has helped us centralize user authentication and improve security within the company through SSO and MFA. It’s integrations establish secure connections between Okta and other applications, ensuring user data is protected during authentication and authorization.

I mostly used Okta for multi-factor authentication (MFA), wherein after logging in through email and password in order to provide more security Okta helps to enforce more security by connecting your mobile device to authentic that its you through signing in using a number or a group of numbers which are meant for a specific user.

We use Okta as our SSO for all the platforms and software at the company, as well as to use any work related software on mobile devices. I believe it pairs well with google suite which is what we use.

Okta - the one-stop shop

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Okta is used by our corporation to house all of our important internal sites. This allows employees to easily access information they would need in one location without having to bookmark a plethora of different tabs. It is also a one-stop shop for sign in, which is useful as most people are not very reliable with remembering their login credentials.
