I use Okta in my organization to view my incentive statements , plan summary with detailed view on commission rates that include billable hours , service billings ,service revenue ,Global service rate table, Services CB over achievement and service revenue over achievement. Okta via Xactly docs intiates the workflow for awaiting approval task for which you also receives reminders to approve official documents of organization.

Where Okta is well suited 1. Multiple products can be used using single sign on and MFA. 2. Makes life easier when you have good amount of hires in your organization and smooth access to all systems by simply logging into Okta will solve. Where Okta is less appropriate 1. Small organization which uses just 1-2 apps . Cost gets higher in that case.

Okta helps our team to manage all the apps for all the everyday operations, from technical tools, or hr, management, or money stuff. it is centralized and easy to follow up. Update or request new permissions, I think that the usage of this tool has enhanced the everyday life of our organization. Thank you Okta

bilingual, you can use spanish and it works very well, it’s response is very fast, you can quickly search apps, and requests permissions, maybe some extra support for things you can’t find would be great, otherwise, the functionality that is present now, works very well, and no need for extra stuff, thank you

I use Okta to access all of my apps, ie. Salesforce, Zoom, Rippling, etc. and it's an essential part of how I securely access tools.

Any corporate setting where employees need to securely access company software would be the best use case. Less suited for personal use

Managed with Single Sign-On (SSO) & Multi-Factor Authentication to securely grant access to specific resources to our external partners, contractors, and vendors.

It has extensive compatibility and rich feature set of integrating with a wide array of core systems and SaaS platforms. Daily I utilize Okta's user-friendly central hub to simplify access the numerous applications we utilize within my company (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, among many others.)

I use Okta to use apps assigned to me such as Salesforce, Workday etc. The best thing Okta addresses is we can see and use all the assigned applications to us from a single sign-on and from the single page. I can also use the same apps from my mobile phone browser.

1. SSO- Users can login only once for all the applications without being login again and again for different applications.

2. Supports Mobile web browsing- User can have the Okta mobile app to access the applications on the mobile phone.
3. Automatic onboarding and deboarding of an employee.

Apart from this, the only less appropriate is I think the pricing, it needs to be pre define especially for small organizations.

I use Okta for signing in to various corporate assets regardless if on the corporate network or at home. The use case is for safely accessing various applications and making sure it is me who is requesting access to those applications. The application is easy to use and prevents unauthorized access.

Again, it is well suited for people accessing applications securely on the corporate network as well as when working from home. I do not have any scenarios where I think it is less appropriate.

We use Okta to control all roles throughout all apps and including how long people can stay signed in before reauthenticating in order to quickly cut down access to extremely sensitive private data.

Okta is well suited to having more control over a large organization with lots of permissions on many apps that potentially need to be shut down fast

We use Okta as our single sign on solution for our org.

It is a really easy solution for getting into all your different software applications. I can't speak about it from an IT perspective, but I can say that if you are evaluating it for your org, your non-IT people will have an easy time using it.

Okta is used as a safe and fast login tool, it enables 2 steps verification in many different options. The best thing about it is that it uses the same login for everything, so it integrates windows login, gmail, confluence, bitbucket making it easier to login in all the accounts and applications we need. at the same time it is also safe using 2 steps login with connection to safe devices.

when thew company uses a lot of different sites/apps and need to authenticate on all of them Okta is a tool that would facilitate the access to the different sites/apps. When the company doesn't have a lot of things to access I don't see a need to add Okta to the company, but it still a good security tool.

We use Okta to drive a workflow from our HRIS system. This workflow onboards staff into our company including door access cards, timecards, software licensing, etc, right down to their name on their nametags. Once onboarded Okta performs as our foundation for single sign-on.

Okta is great for single sign on, and it can be performed in many ways on most device types.

Okta's workflow management is a strength allowing a single tool for both sign on, and license management.

Okta might not be a great fit for organizations that are cost sensitive, or don't have the staff to manage complex licensing implications.
