I mostly used Okta for multi-factor authentication (MFA), wherein after logging in through email and password in order to provide more security Okta helps to enforce more security by connecting your mobile device to authentic that its you through signing in using a number or a group of numbers which are meant for a specific user.

Likelihood to Recommend

For my scenario whenever a new user used to get added within the team he/she was added to the Okta system based on role based access the email of that person. Also its is easy to add or remove users through Okta rather than doing long procedures. After adding the person had to register his number as well that enabled MFA for better security.

Okta makes it easy to provide or request access to a variety of different systems. It is simple to use and easy to navigate. Its API also makes it easy to build integrations for additional functionality.

Okta is well suited for scenarios where staff members need to be granted access to a range of different systems and accounts. It provides excellent access control that makes it easy for admins to approve access requests. It also acts as a central interface to sign into existing accounts in an SSO manner which is helpful for navigating the wide range of products that companies often use on the daily.

It provides a single point of management for user identities, allows us to utilize SSO user groups to access applications easily, and we particularly appreciate the ability to enforce consistent password policies that have led to a significantly increased operational efficiency, a stronger security posture, and a much simpler, more scalable access management experience.

For us, it’s all about centralizing user identity, access control, and device management and Okta works with both Apple and Microsoft which makes it great for our company with diverse infrastructure. Their user interface and security standards were great for what we needed thus giving us great visibility into users and endpoints within our environment.

I’d rate Okta an 8 out. It’s a reliable and secure identity management platform that simplifies access control across our organization. Features like single sign-on and multi-factor authentication work well and save time. One thing that I love, is the integration with the apple watch so I can I verify log ins quickly!

We use Okta for single sign-on (SSO) with Google Workspace. OKTA syncs with Workspace, and with that, we were able to activate MFA for all our email accounts. With password policies and application scope creation, we can use the OKTA platform for multiple services. We have been using it for 8 years now.

Likelihood to Recommend

OKTA is a good fit for both basic and advanced MFA, with SSO for primary tech services, as well as physical key integrations and Active Directory synchronization policies, making access management significantly easier. For small businesses, the prices may be a bit high, and there may be a need for IT professionals to manage the application.

Okta helps our team to manage all the apps for all the everyday operations, from technical tools, or hr, management, or money stuff. it is centralized and easy to follow up. Update or request new permissions, I think that the usage of this tool has enhanced the everyday life of our organization. Thank you Okta

bilingual, you can use spanish and it works very well, it’s response is very fast, you can quickly search apps, and requests permissions, maybe some extra support for things you can’t find would be great, otherwise, the functionality that is present now, works very well, and no need for extra stuff, thank you

I am using here Okta as our tools utilization page as I am continuously using this as more like the tools organizer since Okta's feature includes adding notification and adding apps as well and this include the feature of requesting access for the apps to be used as well (in case that it is not included in the list of your apps)

Okta's ease to navigate plays a vital role in our scope. The reason behind that is because our response time truly matters in our work and having the simplicity of the interface of Okta can help us a lot in order for us to navigate and to use apps located in Okta with ease! Additionally, it is fast to load and as a result, we are using our time efficiently.

Since our company requires multi-factor authentication, I use Okta Verify whenever I log into work systems. It’s a security tool that confirms my identity by having me enter a (very long) password. IT probably sees it as a necessary safeguard to protect company data. From my side, though, it’s just one more step between me and getting things done as from an end user perspective, it gets in the way--a lot. Needless to say it's not my favorite thing in the world and is the most cumbersome of all authentication tools I've ever used.

In my opinion, the worst and most cumbersome authenticator I've ever had the displeasure of using. Before this we used Microsoft Authenticator without issue for at least a couple years. I'm sure out IT team has a good reason switching to Okta, but from an end user perspective, I think it's awful (awful enough that I'm actually taking the time to write this review).

We use Okta to streamline vendors and enhance security across the organization. Instead of having to log-in to every platform and service individually with separate passwords, we can do that from Okta and integrate 2-factor authentication as well.

Multi-Factor security is paramount in today's world and Okta makes that easy to implement.

I use Okta to use apps assigned to me such as Salesforce, Workday etc. The best thing Okta addresses is we can see and use all the assigned applications to us from a single sign-on and from the single page. I can also use the same apps from my mobile phone browser.

Likelihood to Recommend

1. SSO- Users can login only once for all the applications without being login again and again for different applications.

2. Supports Mobile web browsing- User can have the Okta mobile app to access the applications on the mobile phone.

3. Automatic onboarding and deboarding of an employee.

Apart from this, the only less appropriate is I think the pricing, it needs to be pre define especially for small organizations.
