As a manager, I oversee multiple teams spread across various locations, and Miro has been an all-in-one tool for collaboration, process visualization, and work optimization. In our organization, alignment between internal teams and external partners is very important. and Miro is great for that. It provides other set of productivity features as well, the most commonly used are whiteboard, voting & timer, presentations and more.
Pros
Miro simplifies workflow creation using flowcharts and diagrams for better presentation and efficiency.
Miro allows us for multi-user editing, comments, and live discussions for different teams, including external.
Great integration with Microsoft applications, resulting in a better performance than others.
Cons
As I work remotely often, I feel that Miro requires an internet connection, making it difficult to work in low-connectivity environments.
More file format options for exporting boards would be useful, rest all good.

I and my team uses Miro to collaborate visually, solving remote work challenges and project planning a times as it improves communication, making meetings more interactive and ensuring seamless teamwork. We use it for brainstorming, workflow mapping, and team alignment. Miro boosts productivity, creativity, and efficiency in short.
Pros
Helps teams manage projects, track progress, and results in streamline workflows.
Provides more than 100 templates for various use cases and also enables us to create and collaborate on visual diagrams.
Great security with services like encryption, access controls and more.
Cons
Lack of full offline functionality, hence, limiting access when internet is unavailable.
Performance Issues like large boards can slow down the system, affecting usability at times.
Smarter AI-powered suggestions for brainstorming and diagramming wouuld be really great. Especially, nowadays, new AI features rollout every month.
Likelihood to Recommend
Miro is great for design sprints, strategy planning, team alignment and remote collaboration. However, it may not be that good for complex database management, or offline work. Also observed some performance issues on large boards.
Miro is a WONDERFUL collaborative tool. We use it for leading workshops, organizing our roadmaps, collaborating on retrospective feedback, and planning anything, really! Miro has a multitude of helpful pre-built templates that can spark ideas and save time instead of building from scratch. I also love that we can plan a campaign from start to finish and share the board across the marketing department to enable quick collaboration. This tool is a huge win!
Pros
Templates for Efficiency.
User-Friendly Interface.
Project Management & Agile Workflows.
Cons
While collaborating is easy, sharing a board is cumbersome if a user doesn't exit in Miro. Please make this process easier.
Not Ideal for Highly Structured Documentation.
Restricted Free Plan Collaboration.

Miro is a great collaborative tool. You can host remote meetings, workshops, etc. and create a collaborative space where all can participate. I also enjoy being able to create workflows to visualize a process. On the other hand, Miro can be a pricey tool for larger groups. There does seem to be some lag when many users are on one board.
We use Miro as a collaborative tool between users and teams. It helps us visually collect ideas that help guide brainstorming sessions and fast-paced meetings for our startup. We have a fully remote team, and Miro has found it essential to concentrate all contributions from our team in one place. It helps the teams feel more brought together and facilitates the discussions of new topics.
Pros
Remote team collaboration.
Whiteboard for brainstorming sessions.
Project planning.
Marketing strategy mapping.
Cons
More native block options for diagrams.
More native integrations with marketing tools, or others such as Notion.
More interactive blocks such as those from Figjam (figma).

Remote Marketing teams: A highly collaborative tool that helps teams come together with new ideas, organize projects, and create detailed roadmaps of full marketing strategies. Projects we have created and presented to our stakeholders via Miro have always been compliment magnets. The Miro boards help users easily understand our roadmaps and steps, adding more value to our roles.
The Digital Engagement group at RGP, Inc uses Miro for technical documentation, SFLC planning, workflow analysis and team building exercises. It is invaluable for building a knowledge base and collaborative information exchange.
Pros
Editing boards is intuitive and simple
Collaboration for team exercises are easy
Security: Ability to share information to effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Cons
We use "buzzers" for some team interactions. It would be nice to this directly in Miro
Better UML Sequence diagraming capabilities. Editing that is specific to this type of diagram.

Miro is great collaboration and team interactions and in general a good diagramming tool.
We use Miro for our daily stand up meeting. It is easy for everyone to contribute and easily visualizes what everyone is working on. We have users of all different technical acumen and all the users have been able to pick up the functionality of Miro very quickly. It is a very easy to use platform and we have added additional functionality over the years. e have added functionality to it and is is very adaptable to how our business evolves.
Pros
Easy to use interface
Visual representation of process mapping and flows
Very adaptable platform that can be configured to the individual organizations need
Cons
We have not used Miro for more complicated functions using Video or photos but looks like that would be easy to do as well
No issues or concerns

It is very well suited for business process mapping, daily status meetings and is an easy to use visual representation. Most (if not all) businesses can (and should) use Miro as part of their status meetings. I have not faced a situation where it would not be appropriate. It can also be used for project planning and adding milestones while having a list or chart of who is responsible for what actions. I could also see that it would be suitable for card sorting and User Experience functions.
I am in the staffing industry, so we use Miro for organizing what jobs we have open and what stage we're at with filling them. The tag/job will be on one side of the board when it is just brought to the recruiters. From there it will get moved further to the right side as we send the resume to hiring manager, set up interviews, and finally close the req! Having this visual piece is super important for our industry so that the sales/client facing side and the recruiters can be in synch and have open communication.
Pros
Easy/simple to use
User friendly
Great visual
Cons
Lagging (only sometimes)
More customizability for more advanced users
Likelihood to Recommend
If you are working with a team and need communication on progress and timelines then it's a great tool. If you don't have any cross functional collaboration it wouldn't be as useful.

I use Miro to create boards for brainstorming and planning activities. Since our organization has team members all over the world, Miro makes collaboration easy when running sessions. I prefer the online method for these planning and brainstorming sessions as they are easier to facilitate with all of the great features like stickies, voting, and timers!
Pros
Miro's interface is very intuitive and easy to use.
Online collaboration and the ability to send invites to team members are excellent.
Not having a limit to the board canvas is excellent, so you can add as much content as you like.
Cons
It would be great to see improvements in AI for sorting and cleaning data to isolate common themes and remove duplicates.
It would be great for users to be able to submit their templates for others to use.
Some in-product help would be great for the AI feature for tips on how to use it.

Miro is really great for team collaboration. We have many remote team members, and Miro makes it easy and intuitive for us to run planning sessions where everyone can participate and see in real-time what everyone else is doing. Miro is good for planning, but not really great for execution. Getting ideas on a board is simple, but then moving them through the process has to be done somewhere else.
We use Miro extensively at our organization. It helps us plan our projects and collaborate with our partners on training, evaluation, and session design. Miro is our go-to platform for the majority of our work as it provides a very flexible combination: we design the sessions, run them with our partners, and produce summaries and PDF reports of the work done. Being able to import screenshots and whole documents is really helpful and the learning curve for a new user is not very steep.
Pros
Offer an infinite space to prepare and document long processes
Offer easy access for temporary collaborators
Offer a range of ways to include content and edit it
Cons
When I work in low-connectivity places, being able to work on a local version of a board would be very useful
Sometimes users move around stuff in a board that I forgot to lock. I wish locking/unlocking had a bit more nuisance beyond having to lock element by element or lock/unlock the whole board
Sometimes it is hard to figure out how fonts will come out only by looking at the font size indicated in the element characteristics. I have to play around a bit with font size to fit frames on a screen when beaming stuff on a big screen
Likelihood to Recommend
Miro works well when working with many partners, e.g., a training session, an evaluation process, or a design process. It facilitates appropriation of the content and participation as partners can come in and add/edit/suggest. It also becomes a repository of the work done, the decisions taken and the why we decided what we did.

I use it as a way to visualise things we are about to produce, to make the customer get a better understanding for what it would actually look like. I create 3D ideas in 2D to explain what I want to do. I use it as my own photoshop and make plans and overviews of exhibitions and events. I make 1x1m grids to make sure everything fits within a certain area.
Pros
Cropping and writing over images to explain things
Quick sketches instead of making it in 3D
Floorplan where you can put out stuff
Cons
Freeform rektangulars
Grids, if I want a 3x4 squared grid I want to be able to ad that easier.
Likelihood to Recommend
I have told many colleagues about Miro and how to create quick sketches there. It is really good to use if you want to create a floorplan where you can see if things fit. It's also a great tool to use if you want to use an image and add extra things on top of it using layers.
