Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro extensively at our organization. It helps us plan our projects and collaborate with our partners on training, evaluation, and session design.
Miro is our go-to platform for the majority of our work as it provides a very flexible combination: we design the sessions, run them with our partners, and produce summaries and PDF reports of the work done. Being able to import screenshots and whole documents is really helpful and the learning curve for a new user is not very steep.

Pros

  • Offer an infinite space to prepare and document long processes
  • Offer easy access for temporary collaborators
  • Offer a range of ways to include content and edit it

Cons

  • When I work in low-connectivity places, being able to work on a local version of a board would be very useful
  • Sometimes users move around stuff in a board that I forgot to lock. I wish locking/unlocking had a bit more nuisance beyond having to lock element by element or lock/unlock the whole board
  • Sometimes it is hard to figure out how fonts will come out only by looking at the font size indicated in the element characteristics. I have to play around a bit with font size to fit frames on a screen when beaming stuff on a big screen
  • Helps us be more productive (we can reuse boards across different projects)
  • Helps us offer better value for time for our partners as we can organize it to work on the nearly-final product
  • Helps us visualize better processes and reach agreement quicker with our collaborators
It has helped greatly! We all work remotely, and it helps us in many ways, internally (development and testing of new tools and approaches, planning, socializing, etc) and in our work with our partners and clients (running sessions, preparing reports, etc).
We like Miro because it offers a wider range of possibilities to work with. it is stable, not complicated to use and there is a wide community of users sharing insights across different platforms

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro works well when working with many partners, e.g., a training session, an evaluation process, or a design process. It facilitates appropriation of the content and participation as partners can come in and add/edit/suggest. It also becomes a repository of the work done, the decisions taken and the why we decided what we did.
