We use isolved People Cloud as our employee management platform. From employee profile and contact information to time, salary, tax, and benefits management, isolved covers every aspect of employee management. Supervisors have tiered access to employee management tasks and responsibilities. We appreciate the convenience of the mobile app which provides all aspects of management platform on our cell phones.

Based on my experience both personally and as a supervisor, I believe isolved employee management is a well-rounded management option suitable for most typical work environments. It may be less appropriate in industries requiring very flexible work schedules and travel, such as sales. My wife supervises several teams of mobile therapists and isolved may not work as well for tracking their schedules.
We use isolved to keep track of employee training, days off, benefits, and 401k information. You can require an employee to view certain documents and sign off on them so it is very handy when you staff is located in different places. We are a small company of about 35 employees.

I think isolved is a good tool for those with a small staff and a company who has staff in different places, remote workers and part time employees. It might not be the best solution for those over 200 employess though. It works well for our company.

We use iSolved for processing payroll, entering HR data, and onboarding. Previously we had 2 separate software's (1 for payroll and 1 for HR) so we had a lot of double entry. We also did not have electronic onboarding capabilities prior to moving to iSolved. The system has helped us take a step toward being more automated in our processes.

Self-Service is getting harder to use for our employees each year I've found. They are trying to make it more secure, which is great, but they have made it harder than it should be for employees to reset a password. They also took password reset access away from clients which has hindered our employees greatly in my opinion.
In my experience, sometimes it's hard to reach a customer service representative who understands our company's unique processes.
In my experience, system reports have been changed in the past without notifying clients and then couldn't be fixed or replicated. This caused our company an audit finding because a report wasn't pulling information correctly.

Self-service changes have made it hard for our employees to reset their passwords when needed. We often have to wait several days for a customer service rep to do the reset since access was removed from clients in early 2023. We are also the middle man between the service rep and the employee for self-service resets which hinders the process. Payroll processing is super simple and easy to get done. Employee changes are also easy to manage and see the history of.
We use isolved for payroll and HR purposes. We have recently began using the onboarding feature for our new hires and that has made it easier on us since we no longer have to enter all of their information in the system. We would like to use the timeclock feature but due to us being non-profit and having numerous different grants that employees are paid by, we have not moved that far yet. It is something we are currently looking into.

The website is easy to use and "clean" looking. My biggest issue is when employees can't get logged in to self serve. The only thing I can do is put a ticket in and wait for someone to send a new link to the employee. If the employee does not check their email in time, the link expires and the process has to start all over. I also have issues with employees changing their phone number and not changing it in their self serve so then they can't do the second verification step. That initiates another ticket from me. If the employer is not going to have the ability to be more helpful with this process, then I feel the employee should be allowed to contact isolved directly so that I'm not a "middle man".

isolved is well suited for clients large and small. Functionality can be tailored to most clients' specific needs and provides room grow. The adaptive employee experience - self service portal allows employees more autonomy and helps the client more efficiently complete payroll and HR related tasks.
We use isolved for paroll, human resources, time tracking, training and hiring. We are currently also working on getting the onboarding up and working. Whenever we had found an issue we usually have it resolved within the hour which is absolutely amazing. We are now able to have all of our data and information needed all in one spot - we wouldnt go back!

Small businesses like ours can benefit tremendously by not having to worry about timing of payroll tax payments. Everything is handled seamlessly by isolved. I never need to worry about checks as employees are paid via direct deposit and their IRA payments are easily withheld and you never need to worry about making mistakes that affect employee payments.
isolved is the right-hand man that I consult with all day every day. For three years I was an HR party of one and relied on my HR software for assistance with daily tasks. We were with Paycom but left them in December of 2021 to implement isolved and I couldn't be happier. Although the implementation was a little rockier than anticipated, the usability of the program is leaps and bounds better than Paycom was. isolved helps me transition to paperless HR personnel filing, manage COBRA and FMLA cases easier, verify and maintain benefits more accurately and help employees take a more active role in managing their own HR needs and files. I am continually amazed at how intuitive the program is and continues to evolve for the better. My only wish is that I would have switched systems sooner and didn't wait three years!

If you want employees to have the ability to submit their own time change requests for PTO, this would not be a good system to use as they have not implemented that recommendation yet. If you want to have a hands-off approach to FMLA and COBRA management, isolved would be fantastic!
