Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In my organization, we use Fireflies.ai as a notetaker for our meetings. Since nobody liked to volunteer as a notetaker, especially during long meetings, when everybody can lose concentration and some don't pay attention at all. Fireflies helps do not miss important stuff and even sends follow-ups to all team members.

  • Sends follow-ups

Cons

  • Sometimes bot is too slow in the beginning of the meeting, it misses parts of the meeting
  • You can not send the recap to people who doesn't have an account
  • No built in analytic tools

Return on Investment

  • It saves efforts of the team since we concentrate on meeting, not on note taking.
  • Increases meeting productivity - everybody knows that everything said will be in the notes!
  • Minimize wrong information distribution, summary is the same for everybody.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Fireflies.ai every day. I use it to record meetings with clients and collaborators and help with follow up emails. I also frequently consult Fred on details I forget that we discussed. I also use it to record information gathering sessions with clients, which is an integral piece of the product I sell. That interview and the resulting transcript are central pieces of the product.

Pros

  • FRED!! Fred is always there to answer things I forget about and to provide useful summaries and follow up points.
  • The transcripts are high-quality, accurate, and the speaker/time stamp and multiple download methods are very useful.
  • Fireflies.ai is so easy to use!
  • I love that you can upload a recording from outside of Fireflies.ai and get the transcript. I use this a lot for SOPs, feedback, and analysis because I can speak my thoughts into a voice note and easily turn it into a transcript that will become usable text.

Cons

  • I would like more information about how to make the most of the app as a small business. Maybe new functionalities could be pointed out, or suggestions can be made if I'm not using functions that could help my workflow.

Return on Investment

  • Fireflies.ai plays a key role in being able to turn my service into a product. A one hour interview is the central piece of the product, and the transcript provides all of the data we need to create an outstanding strategy for the client. As for ROI, I'd have to say is 1,000% because I literally would not be making money without it.
  • Fireflies.ai allows me to be 100x more present and engaging in meetings, and look super smart and focused with the live transcription running on the side. This helps me look super pro and earn the trust of my clients and prospects.
  • Fireflies.ai give me SO MUCH FREE TIME! The time I used to spend wrapping up meetings, writing followups, jotting to-dos onto my list, scrambling to remember details about what was said. I don't think I can put a number on that, but you can say it 10x'd my free time.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am using Firelies.ai to take notes during my virtual meetings. It helps me to automatically transcript all of my meetings from Google Meet and other various meeting platforms I use every day. And I'm also using Fireflies.ai to take notes during my online meetings, which is the best feature I love about this software.

Pros

  • Helps in transcription & take notes.
  • Listening to the meeting is very easy.
  • Can be integrated into other various software.
  • They also provide the option to download the meeting and the option to like & dislike the recording.
  • And I love their soundbites features which I can use to highlight the specific part of the recording for future use.

Cons

  • In their free version they have only 3000 minutes which is less I think, it will be great if they could increase it a little bit more for a free version. And also their pro version is overpriced for me.
  • And I tried to stop the recording and it was showing me that everything recorded till now will be deleted from that particular meeting. Maybe I didn't know how to do it, or that's something they need to fix. Cause something I just want to stop the recording from Fireflies dashboard for the meeting.

I use fireflies for my virtual classes because of zoom and it allows me to record all the classes regardless of their time and the best thing is the option of transcription of calls and videos, because it allows me to have my notes and notes and not lose any detail of what was dictated in the class.

  • Allows recording of calls and lectures in real time and transcription to text of all content.
  • Allows synchronization with Gmail and Outlook calendars to trigger recordings in scheduled meetings.
  • Transcribe audio files feature, makes it possible to have transcribed and error-free information from any audio file in any format.

Cons

  • On some occasions, when the file is very heavy, it takes a while to output the recording and transcription.
  • It has presented failures in the recordings, when you do not have a good internet connection.
  • Searching for documents and files can be complicated if they are not previously tagged.

  • It is a great help for companies with remote staff and for students with virtual classes, so that important details of online conversations are not lost. It is a great investment for anyone who needs to have transcripts of calls and conferences at hand.
  • For companies it is useful for not overlooking meeting requests and in online classes to avoid missing important details of classes.
