Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Fireflies.ai every day. I use it to record meetings with clients and collaborators and help with follow up emails. I also frequently consult Fred on details I forget that we discussed. I also use it to record information gathering sessions with clients, which is an integral piece of the product I sell. That interview and the resulting transcript are central pieces of the product.

Pros

FRED!! Fred is always there to answer things I forget about and to provide useful summaries and follow up points.
The transcripts are high-quality, accurate, and the speaker/time stamp and multiple download methods are very useful.
Fireflies.ai is so easy to use!
I love that you can upload a recording from outside of Fireflies.ai and get the transcript. I use this a lot for SOPs, feedback, and analysis because I can speak my thoughts into a voice note and easily turn it into a transcript that will become usable text.

Cons

I would like more information about how to make the most of the app as a small business. Maybe new functionalities could be pointed out, or suggestions can be made if I'm not using functions that could help my workflow.

Likelihood to Recommend

It does the job really well. They were one of the first on the scene and have continually improved overtime. It's crazy affordable, I'm always surprised when I see the $5 monthly charge compared to other apps I pay more for and use a lot less.

It is built on the latest in AI, deep learning, and NLP technology, which helps users get their work done in less time while improving productivity in our organization.

Pros

It's very easy to use.
Easy to integrate
It automatically connects with my Zoom calendar meetings.

Cons

The transcript accuracy can be improved.
The pricing is also kind of expensive.
No video recording which for the price should be included.

fireflies.ai is a Voice as a Service (VaaS) platform that enables developers to build and deploy voice-enabled applications without the need for professional services or the burden of deploying and managing their own voice engine. Absolutely seamless to add to your calls. Basic configuration and there you go. The interface is amazing. They've almost idiot-proofed their UI.

I am using Firelies.ai to take notes during my virtual meetings. It helps me to automatically transcript all of my meetings from Google Meet and other various meeting platforms I use every day. And I'm also using Fireflies.ai to take notes during my online meetings, which is the best feature I love about this software.

Pros

Helps in transcription & take notes.
Listening to the meeting is very easy.
Can be integrated into other various software.
They also provide the option to download the meeting and the option to like & dislike the recording.
And I love their soundbites features which I can use to highlight the specific part of the recording for future use.

Cons

In their free version they have only 3000 minutes which is less I think, it will be great if they could increase it a little bit more for a free version. And also their pro version is overpriced for me.
And I tried to stop the recording and it was showing me that everything recorded till now will be deleted from that particular meeting. Maybe I didn't know how to do it, or that's something they need to fix. Cause something I just want to stop the recording from Fireflies dashboard for the meeting.

If you are an individual or a small business then I think the free version of Fireflies.ai is suited for you. But if you are a big business and have online meetings on regular basis then I guess the Business plan of Fireflies.ai will be the perfect choice for you.

I use fireflies for my virtual classes because of zoom and it allows me to record all the classes regardless of their time and the best thing is the option of transcription of calls and videos, because it allows me to have my notes and notes and not lose any detail of what was dictated in the class.

Pros

Allows recording of calls and lectures in real time and transcription to text of all content.
Allows synchronization with Gmail and Outlook calendars to trigger recordings in scheduled meetings.
Transcribe audio files feature, makes it possible to have transcribed and error-free information from any audio file in any format.

Cons

On some occasions, when the file is very heavy, it takes a while to output the recording and transcription.
It has presented failures in the recordings, when you do not have a good internet connection.
Searching for documents and files can be complicated if they are not previously tagged.

This is a great tool for students all over the world, as well as for companies and sales agents. It is the easiest and fastest way to know the details of calls and audio files. It is a software that will save you a lot of time and increase productivity and performance.

We use it in the company to record all our meetings, as many of them last for long periods of time and we don't want to lose any details of what was explained at that moment. We have all easily adapted to the software and it is very easy to use.

Pros

It is very easy to use and can be integrated with the most popular calling services such as zoom, Skype, google meet and many more.
It allows you to schedule a meeting in the calendar and automatically records the meeting at the scheduled date and time.
Transcription of audio files can be performed, with the Audio file upload tool.

Cons

It can be a slow process to transcribe long calls or conferences.
I wish it had a translation option, as there are calls in other languages that I wish it could transcribe and translate.
Its conversation finder is not very efficient, sometimes I have to search for the transcript, call by call, as I don't get it.

Likelihood to Recommend

This software is ideal for all companies with a sales department, who wish to improve customer service. Also for companies that have staff working remotely, in this way the calls and conferences can be sent in writing at the end of the meetings, being very useful.
