In our organization, we utilize Celonis to enhance process excellence and drive automation across various functions, enabling us to analyze and visualize business processes and identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. With various implementations in areas like ITSM, HR, Procurement, Commercial Operation, Asset Management, Celonis could support reducing workload by automating repetitive tasks, braking down data silos by integrating data from different sources into one platform and providing a clear visualization of the process flow.
Pros
Mapping out entire process flow.
Real-time monitoring and analysis.
Integrates data from multiple sources into a single platform, breaking down data silos and providing a holistic view of business processes.
Forecast and prevention.
Cons
Enhancing the AI and machine learning algorithms to provide more accurate forecast.
More guided tutorials for new users, and how to use dashboards.
Offering more webinars from Celonis experts within Uniper.
Likelihood to Recommend
I believe that Celonis is a great tool to use in Uniper, as it can integrate data from different sources into a single platform, making interfaces more accurate and facilitating the monitoring of data flow from one source system to another.

We have introduced Celonis in our organization more than one year. Until now we have realized four solutions about customer operations. we use this tool to monitor our processes and find any anomalies so as to ensure continuous improvement. Finally, we found it very helpful to be able to set up automatic alerts
Pros
the alert email
the process explorer view
Cons
Is not so user-friendly
Likelihood to Recommend
In my experience, I think celonis is the right tool for processes where multiple systems are involved where all the steps are tracked, while I do not recommend its use for those processes where there are steps that occur outside the system

At this moment we use Celonis more in an ad hoc way. Confirm assumptions, identify if we have bottlenecks in a specific process, measure lead time. In the past we used Celonis to track "delayed" goods receipts by informing users via a mail notification (not via Celonis as our "users" don't have the acces to the system).
Pros
Standard apps
KPI display
Process analytics
Cons
Data plug and play -> always need very technical people to help out
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for change scenario's and rework scenario's. Happy flow identification.

Celonis is a process mining and analysis tool and we primarily use the tool within Uniper IT to help to optimise our business processes which leads to a reduction in our operating costs. By using the application, our Process Analysts are able to visualise and analyse many of our end-to-end business processes and can then identify any bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Celonis also helps us target areas where automation can be implemented in order to reduce manual effort.
Pros
Visualisation of Uniper's business processes
Makes it easier for us to demonstrate compliance during external audits
Drives process improvement through identifying automation opportunities and areas that can be targeted for waste reduction
Cons
User interface is complex and so it can take some time for users who are new to process mining to become familiar with the tool
Celonis is not able to integrate with all of Uniper's enterprise application due to lack of connectors
No real-time collaboration with other users e.g. lack of shared annotations
Likelihood to Recommend
The industry in which Uniper operates requires strict adherence to compliance regulations, and we need a tool to monitor and ensure compliance throughout our key business processes. Celonis helps us to visualise our process and makes it easier to demonstrate that we are compliant. Uniper also has a culture of continuous improvement and we use Celonis to measure the impact of various process enhancements (such as increased automation) over time.

We use Celonis to know how our processes really work, and then we use it to make improvements to the processes, based on performance indicators and compliance. A different type of people uses Celonis in their daily activities, like operational people as well business managers. The tool permits a flexible range of filters and views that make it easy to use.
Pros
Performance
Usability
Flexibility
Cons
Price

Well suited: Must have a motivated organization to explore the business, based on process mining. Applicable to transactional processes (with a lot of events a day) with many activities and systems sources.
Less appropriate: processes with few and infrequent activities. The manual feed of information sources.
Celonis gave us insights into our business that we didn't have before. These insights allowed us to analyze some of our processes more completely and identify work that could be automated. Having the data to support these process automation ideas made getting approval to move forward with them much easier. We were able to build a solid business case with actual data. The business value architects have helped us find areas of opportunity to investigate, based on the data that is available. Isolating specific cases that were outside the preferred process flows and ideas to look into based on their experience with other companies.
Pros
The product outline the actual process flows using the available data sources.
Able to create dashboard views that drove solid business cases using actual data and process flows.
As a new user it was easy to understand and use
Cons
I am not run a crossed anything as of yet still be in a new user.

We utilized it in many areas of our business from accounts payable, billing, collections, new sign-ups, and customer job estimates.

Project Manager in Customer Service (Utilities company, 5001-10,000 employees)
Our main goal is to achieve transparency across the customer journey and to optimize this journey. This started from forecasting of materials and expected orders. In the next step, it should lead us to insights about our production process and problems [that] occur during the assembly (delays, missing parts.) Other topics in the customer journey are throughput times and delays during the order processing in the sales departments.
Pros
Transparency
Ease of use (customizing, dashboards, etc.)
Automatization
Consulting via Celonis BVA
Cons
Clear path to positive ROI (when, how much)
More features to increase data quality of source system (as this is the base for Celonis)
Overview of minimum data quality in source system to utilize full potential of Celonis
Likelihood to Recommend
It is great to provide transparency about your processes. It also shows you the areas in which data quality is the main issue for a better performance of the process. In this case, the help of the Celonis BVA team was great to be faster in finding the issues with data quality and possible solutions with Celonis.
