What is BILL?

BILL is an online service for SMBs which provides a central dashboard for managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and cash flow management. It syncs with all major accounting systems like QuickBooks, Sage, Intaact, and NetSuite.

BILL automatically pulls in bills via email and automatically starts the process. It also checks for duplicate invoices by looking at the invoice numbers and payment amounts to flag questionable invoices.

We use BILL.com Primarly for Accounts Payable activities, such as invoice recording, making payments, Pulling out specific reports based on the requirement of the analysis and the BILL.com in integrated with Intacct which allows smooth transit of Data. My specific Use case is to record the invoices and make payments

Bill was used to pay other vendors as well as receive payments from clients in a secure and centralized platform. Privacy and speed were two major areas that Bill was able to address. If a company needs to change their banking or personal information, it can be done only by them, thereby reducing clerical errors. The variety of payment types and processing speeds were important when evaluating Bill as a solution option.

We utilized BILL in our organization in order to connect financially with a multitude of customers. The program allows us easy access to receive payments, invoice as needed as well as view status of all incoming payments. Overall, we are satisfied with the functionality and ease of use when it comes to BILL.

We use Bill.com for accounts payable. Some donors choose to make their donations through Bill.com, too. The approval process works through Bill.com. The system enables us to implement an efficient workflow and segregation of duties for proper internal controls. It's also integrated with the accounting database.

  • Processing invoices from entering it into the system to payment is paperless.
  • The integration with the accounting database has worked well.

Cons

  • Tech support is only available by chat.
  • We didn't intend to use Bill.com for cash receipts, so I didn't realize we had received some money until a donor inquired.
