Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Main business problems are secured data backups and Disaster recovery solutions. The Acronis Cyber Protect brings a whole range of solutions in these areas in an elegant manner: all integrated in a user friendly console, even the DR button which the most stunning capacity of Acronis Cyber Protect. And to finish, the cherry on the cake are the prices which are very competitive. It is our favorite solution for SMB.

We use Acronis to back up our servers and workstations. The solution is efficient and the support is responsive when needed. The sales department is also looking for the best solution to meet our needs. Overall, we've been very satisfied working with this vendor for nearly ten years. Nous utilisons Acronis pour la sauvegarde des serveurs et stations de travail. La solution est efficace et le support réactif en cas de besoin. Le service commercial est également à la recherche de la meilleure solution pour répondre à nos besoins. Globalement très satisfait de travailler avec cet éditeur depuis près d'une dizaine d'années.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Acronis Cyber Protect for some of our clients in order to back up business critical workstations. Recently we had to carry out a full system restore to new hard drive and the Acronis backup worked perfectly for this.

Pros

  • Runs on a predetermined schedule
  • Protects the entire server from complete failure
  • Easy to restore

Cons

  • Could be slightly easier to use - sometimes the interface and options can be overwhelming
  • It would be good if you could back up endpoints to your own offsite data location, via rsync for example

we are using two tools from Acronis Cyber Protect.
one is Cyper Protect in order to have a backup when needed.
two is snap deploy, becaus its easier to handle than the microsoft tools for system rollouts.

As a cybersecurity assistant, using the tool is very easy and important for backups, although we have been experiencing some problems when creating plans. We store the copies locally, but there has been slowness and many errors when making backups. We are on version 16.
