Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

Our reps have been there for us every step of the way. Anytime we need assistance, they are a call or email away. In the event that they are not, someone else promptly responds to assist. We've had help with all kinds of things, from new hires, terminations, assistance with policy implementation and the like.
Trinet is utilized by our organization to maintain benefits, process payroll and assist with HR related issues. All of our employees are set up with access upon hire, so that they may use the self-service options to elect company sponsored benefits and access payroll related documents. Our company is small, Trinet helps us address our needs without the need for a full-on HR and payroll department.

Pros

  • Trinet employs smart people that are educated on their products and ready to assist at a moment's notice.
  • Trinets employees are good at communicating with their clients.
  • Trinets employees are friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Cons

  • The payroll preview function never seems to be available on the cutoff date for payroll, even though the cutoff time is supposed to be 10AM. I make sure to run the preview the day prior to avoid this issue.
  • Our company leaves the payroll audit function to manual so that we have a bit more time in case of preview failures. Our CSA is always extremely helpful, but depending upon the workload it can take several hours to receive the preview and invoice. This is sometimes due to last minute changes and not always the fault of Trinet, though there is room for improvement in this area.
  • Trinet assists us with payroll processing.
  • Trinet assists us with HR functions such as new hires and terminations.
  • Trinet assists us with compliance issues and documentation.
Trinet is a well suited solution for companies that do not have HR and payroll departments, or are minimally employed in these departments.
