Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

My company outsources HR services. We've used Paylocity as part of our clients' platforms for onboarding, processing payroll, enrolling benefits, uploading files, etc.

Pros

  • The dashboard functions very well and is user friendly.
  • It's very easy to onboard new employees
  • File management works well
  • Enrolling in benefits is easy for employees
  • The support teams are very responsive.

Cons

  • Functionality with admins is a little more difficult to navigate
  • Constantly updating user admin guides and help videos
  • Sometimes we get switched from team to team when having issues
  • spend less time on payroll
  • improvement in ee file managment
  • simplified the OB process
For the most part they work very well together. Sometimes workflows can be clunky, but that is usually on the part of the user.
These features have not been used much but that is one of our goals in the coming year.
Everything works great but there is always room for improvement.
Paylocity is much better than ADP
