Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We have been using Paylocity as our payroll provider since
2020, and it has improved the way we manage our HR duties. From the start,
Paylocity has simplified various HR processes. The comprehensive capabilities of Paylocity have streamlined
my HR functions such as onboarding, surveys, reviews, anti-harassment training,
and PTO. I am launching HSA and COBRA processes into Paylocity early
next year. I want to keep as much as I possible under one system. Paylocity's expense management system has been well
received by our employees, who appreciate the intuitive and straightforward
process for submitting and tracking their expenses (as opposed to our prior
Excel sheet expense reports). My experience with Paylocity’s support team has been positive. I like the fact
that I can call and talk to someone in the US. Whenever I’ve needed assistance,
their support team seems genuinely committed to solving the issues. My sales
representative/contact is great. I
can always reach her when something is needed. One concern is
that my Account Manager changes often. It
would be great if they offered in-person educational conferences.

Cons

  • #1-Compensation - not flexible with varied bonus amounts, salaries, positions.
  • PTO - cancelling PTO even if payroll has been completed for the period
  • Recruiting - a bit clunky
  • Reduced time expenditures
  • Easier processes
combining PTO, expenses, learning/trainings , and surveys with payroll has been beneficial with ease and cost of not having multiple portals/providers

I love when I call support to get help on reports and I get a support team member on the phone who loves reporting and has amazing repouring skills. It makes my life easier. It gets me excited for reporting features.

Using Paylocity

Paylocity Support

We've been using the Paylocity HRIS payroll provider since October 2020, and the experience has been consistently solid. One of the standout features is their support team — they actually pick up the phone, and when you call, you get real help from people who know the system. If they don't know they follow up. That’s incredibly valuable.
The expense and paid time off modules are simple to use and make day-to-day tasks easy for both managers and employees. The onboarding module takes a bit of initial setup, but once it’s built out, it works smoothly and is flexible enough to update as your processes change. Paylocity also recently introduced specialized support departments tailored to different areas of need, which helps streamline getting the right answers faster from a support team member that specializes in the area.
