Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is the tool I use the most in my work, which makes sense since I run a lot of workshops, both in person and remote. Its flexibility also allows us to use it for everything we do in our team - weekly meetings, asynchronous work, brainstorms. I really appreciate that it works well whether we're just informally putting things together, or presenting something to clients.

Pros

  • Enable collaboration
  • Cater to different learning styles
  • Flexible formats - allows images, gifs, docs, tables, kanbans, etc.

Cons

  • Loading time is sometimes a little slow on big boards
  • Keeping track of boards past a certain number is difficult (Spaces are great, but tags would be even better)
  • Smoother collaboration
  • One software instead of many
  • Time savings in workshops (no post-its to type manually!)
I find the overall experience very intuitive, but I'm a power user so my experience may not be representative; I've heard from others that it can take quite a while to learn properly. There are also a lot of different features, which makes usability a challenge compared to simpler software.
Comments make collaboration easier; I like that we can colour code them
Cards are great because they contain a lot of details that post-its don't have
Tags are very powerful; they add useful dimensions that we can use when handling a lot of data
The Miro AI is very handy for things like summarizing and generating new ideas
As mentioned earlier I don't really use Powerpoint anymore and I don't use Microsoft Word as much.
I haven't used other tools seriously but whatever little I've seen/used of them paled in comparison with Miro. The UI/UX just feels better!

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

We use Miro both internally and with clients, as an individual mood board and a group collaboration tool, in remote and in-person meetings, and for formal and informal settings. I've stopped using PowerPoint a while ago, I use Miro instead. However, even though Docs are getting better, they still don't beat Word.
