Overall Satisfaction with Miro
In my last role, we used it regularly for brainstorming, process flows, user research, group feedback, note-taking, and other collaborative functions. I just started a new job and am inquiring about it. I hope it’s an option here!
Pros
- Real-time digital collaboration.
- Supporting many types of tools - text, tables, flow charts, etc.
- Allowing an unlimited space for growing work.
- Option to scroll/view as a slide show.
- Easy to learn and intuitive to use.
Cons
- It’s tough to size new frames on the same scale. Zooming, sizing, and all the options mean that display continuity is broken.
- I had boards fail because they couldn’t handle certain image types.
- Reducing time to collect and summarize ideas and concepts.
- Decreasing documentation locations and version issues.
I don’t know how we would have accomplished our work without it. No other tool comes close to replicating the in-person whiteboard experience.
Microsoft’s tools are useful but delegate in utility, and Miro brings those many things into one app.
