Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for a plethora of items, for example: I use Miro primarily for idea breakdowns and planning, it is the primary application I use for planning new ideas such as a Jira Software template. It allows for a lot of flexibility, and more and more individuals within my organization have started to use it. The business problems Miro addresses, is communication I suppose, we use it for our rose, thorn and bud meetings, quarterly planning... the communication it allows for every employee means we can all have a voice
Pros
- Flexibility, unlike word Miro is not static
- Editing Tools, e.g. the ease of tool use
- 'Open-world' essence to it
Cons
- Zoom in, sometimes I would like to zoom in a lot more than available
- Load time, if the Miro is too large it will take a long while to load
- A tagging feature, in which if you @ someone it drags them to the item
- Breakdown of thought processes (e.g. you can gain more insight into a project)
- Quicker presentations and communication
- Open communication as well
Its been fantastic, our team is spread all over our country, meaning we have online meetings for every meeting and can WFH at any point. Miro has allows the open communication between employees around the country, infact I believe it is a wonderful application for project planning. One of our teams best products we formatted was planned via Miro, an online e-Learning platform
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
Yes
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
I will say Miro does miss out on the animation and interactivity that Genially has. I use both Miro and Genially a whole lot, never have thought to compare the two products, but they both have their strengths with limited flaws. I use both products very differently, e.g. I use Genially's interactive images as website iframes, and I use Miro to plan the website and the iframes. However, in the grand scheme of things I would choose Miro, it allows for more and the planning aspect is much more important to me.
