A boon for remote collaboration
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is a great product that I have been actively using during my education and product management roles at multiple companies. It is an amazing tool for mindmapping, and collaboration especially when done in a team. I use Miro boards as the starting point for inception on a project, to collect all the relevant info on the same page so that it can be used for different analyses.
Pros
- Realtime collaboration
- Infinite board, yet fast and reliable
- Templates to kickstart brainstorming
- references of sample boards from Miroverse
Cons
- Some text editing features in textbooks do not allow document style editing
- turning bullets to stickers is a cumbersome process
- Capturing stickers from screenshots is cumbersome as well
- Improved remote collaboration
- established a mutual baseline
- Sped up planning and workshops
Miro has been GREAT for remote collaboration. As someone who works remotely, this has reduced the need for unnecessary travel and made my work significantly faster.
