Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is a great product that I have been actively using during my education and product management roles at multiple companies. It is an amazing tool for mindmapping, and collaboration especially when done in a team. I use Miro boards as the starting point for inception on a project, to collect all the relevant info on the same page so that it can be used for different analyses.

Pros

  • Realtime collaboration
  • Infinite board, yet fast and reliable
  • Templates to kickstart brainstorming
  • references of sample boards from Miroverse

Cons

  • Some text editing features in textbooks do not allow document style editing
  • turning bullets to stickers is a cumbersome process
  • Capturing stickers from screenshots is cumbersome as well
  • Improved remote collaboration
  • established a mutual baseline
  • Sped up planning and workshops
The enterprise account is good, but a little costly for the features it offers. The charges should depend on the actual usage of Miro rather than a user being charged even for a single edit
Miro has been GREAT for remote collaboration. As someone who works remotely, this has reduced the need for unnecessary travel and made my work significantly faster.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I used Miro before, and it seemed more mature than other softwares out there
Miro is especially good for running remote workshops, and working in large teams to collect ideas in one place. Using Miro for prolonged documentation of archiving stuff is not a good idea. Using Miro for presentations can also turn shabby pretty quickly. The quick editing features in Miro allow for a lot of stuff that I would normally do on other websites
