Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use MasterControl Quality Excellence for document control, incident reports, quality events and caps, and have started to implement for auditing. We still use several other applications at our organization, so we haven’t been able to tap into every availability that Master Control provides. We use master control very frequently. All our policies and SOPs are in MC.

All end users know what master control is
End users may not be well versed in how to find a document in master control, but they know where they need to go to find what they need in documents

Usability

End users do not like MasterControl Quality Excellence. If you are not in master control on a daily basis, you will lose the knowledge of what is needed.

Alternatives Considered

Qpulse was stagnant and was not changing as quickly as my organization needed

Document collaboration is an excellent way to edit or update documents. Whenever someone makes a change to a document that is in a collaboration, everyone else in the collaboration needs to sign off on what was edited. Even if that update was as simple as a spelling issue.
