Overall Satisfaction with BambooHR®

We use Bamboo HR as our HRIS system. We have been with Bamboo for a little over two years now. Bamboo helps us with recruitment and hiring, onboarding new employees and subcontractors, and communication for employee-related messages. It also keeps all important employee-related data for our organization.

Pros

  • Reporting: I love how easy it is to pull any report I need.
  • On-boarding, Bamboo has made this process easy for new employees.
  • Company announcements are a great tool to use for comprehensive company communication.

Cons

  • I would love the ability to override e-signatures if needed. Sometimes, they get stuck in a person's inbox because that particular person is out on PTO. As the admin, I would love the ability to override that if needed.
  • I hope the benefit portal has more connected carriers. That would be a bonus.
  • We are allowing re-hires to complete onboarding paperwork before their hire date. They can't access Bamboo HR until the hire date.
  • There has been a huge improvement in hiring and onboarding. Our previous ATS (Clear Company) was outdated and difficult to navigate.
  • Easy of information to employees. Bamboo has been a great communication tool.
  • Accessibility in getting the information needed for reporting features.
I really love and enjoy using Bamboo HR. It is a great tool overall for our company. It fits our needs based on what we use it for. The timekeeping feature is great for our hourly non-exempt employees. The geo-tracking allows us to verify the clock in/out.
My only real complaint about Bamboo Support is the turnaround time to get back to me with a solution. More often than not, it's a day or two-day turnaround.
The reporting feature is top notch. I love using this tool b/c I can pull just the information I need at any given time. It is one of my favorite tools Bamboo HR offers.
I felt Bamboo HR was what we needed for our company. Other HRIS systems didn't give me the care and dedication I have gotten from Bamboo. It was almost like I was another notch in their belt. Bamboo has always made me feel like I came first...like I was their only customer!

Bamboo HR is great for big-ish/small employers. All the features are well suited and utilized for our company. I love how easy the interface has always been. The extra bonus is the customization feature, which allows us to add industry-related information to our employee profiles.
