We use BambooHR as our HRIS and it has been awesome in managing and streamlining our HR functions. It makes functions such as onboarding, managing time-offs, payroll, keeping employee records, and performance management easy. We enjoy using it more so because of the effortless automation of administrative tasks which ensures efficiency. Also, it saves time for the HR staff thanks to AI features that makes handling HR inquiries easy.

A Well Equipped All-In-One HR Platform

We use BambooHR as our primary human resource management tool and it has so far worked well. Being an all-in-one solution, it handles everything from payroll, hiring, time/attendance management, benefits, onboarding, and even performance management. What makes it great are the automation capabilities and the ability to centralize employee data for easy management. In addition, it supports lots of integration and scaling is always easy. It is the best HR solution I have used.

We adopted BambooHR® to manage all of our employee onboarding, performance review and payroll requirements for our medium sized team. We were previously tracking this manually, but as our team grew we needed a software solution to manage it all. We reviewed around 5 different applications and chose BambooHR® as it offered all these features in one and had an easy to use UI.

Cons

  • Customer support via email/tickets can be slower than we would like
  • Its largely self-service for onboarding so knowing how to set things up in the best way takes time to work out

A Great Solution For Business Core HR Functions

I'm working in the HR department and BambooHR® has been very instrumental when it comes to streamlining our core HR functioning. It simplifies everything from hiring, on boarding, off -day tracking, payroll, and performance management among other key functions. With the self-service features, it ensures we save time and the reduced human errors ensures we make right decisions. I also enjoy using the reporting features and I must admit BambooHR® ensures compliance while promoting efficiency.

BambooHR®- A great fit for our business needs

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize the hiring, timekeeping, performance management, and payroll modules of BambooHR®. The system supports our business by providing our employees with a user-friendly system to stay connected and keep communications in one location. It has allowed us to bridge communication gaps that we previously experienced with our prior system while providing our employees with a secure portal for all of their employment resources.

Pros

  • Recruiting- communications are easy for both the internal team and candidates
  • Onboarding- the onboarding tasks are great. I love being able to attach documents as well as delay sending out tasks
  • Communication- the employee community is a great tool to keep our communications clean and organized. I love that we now have insight as to who has viewed the comms

Cons

  • I would love the ability to create sub folders within the company resource folders
  • I have ran into a few small issues with the total compensation statement and getting information to tie over correctly
  • An integration with JP Morgan's 401k portal would be amazing
  • An integration with Employee Navigator would be a game changer

Return on Investment

  • improved onboarding- adding documents and due dates to tasks
  • time expenditure- we had printed documents initially. BambooHR® has saved me so much time with the electronic documents that automatically save in the employee record
  • streamlined processes- key features such as the signature documents, onboarding/offboarding tasks have streamlined my processes also allowing for increased time savings
