Overall Satisfaction with Avalara

We use it in the accounting department for reconciliation and filing of tax returns. We also use it in the billing department for adding tax to invoices for billing purposes. It's a great platform to verify that we are adding the correct tax to customer invoices and that we are filing and paying the correct amount to each state with nexus.

  • Reports make reconciliation with financial software quick and easy.
  • We save 8-10 hours monthly by using Avalara for filing in 12 different states.
It's very easy to use. The new reporting is kind of confusing at first, but once you know where to look, it's very user-friendly.
Any company that has customers in multiple states that needs to file in multiple states should use Avalara - it makes is easy!
