Overall Satisfaction with Avalara

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a local printer [that provides] printing service for nonprofits, restaurants, retailers, higher education institutions, manufacturers, and more. We use Avalara for calculating sales tax in the states we have Nexus in. We are having Avalara integrated with the MIS we use called EPMS, so our CSRs and Accounting Department can easily create an invoice on EPMS with tax calculated.

Easy to use in most cases on a day-to-day basis, but the customer service needs to be improved.

Likelihood to Recommend

Avalara is well suited for E-commerce. It it very flexible [and able] to integrate with various platforms. Also, the reporting function, [where] users can find the reports that fit their needs easily, is very helpful.
