Zoho Campaigns may suit start-ups that need a very good platform for e-mail marketing.
I use Zoho Campaigns to create and send out our company's e-newsletter. I also create and send invitation for educational opportunities. Occasionally, I'll use it to communicate with clients regarding changing business hours or other newsworthy items that they would have an interest in.
Pros
email template editor
reporting on email stats
support
Cons
Email template editor can sometimes cause issues with spacing etc. I have to play around with it to get the email looking the way I want it to.
I'd like the organization of templates to be neater. It's nice that I can save them by subject, but on the page with my templates, you see them all when you log on. I'd prefer to see just the folders.
On occasion, email addresses will be eliminated without a real explanation.

Overall, I'm happy with Zoho Campaigns. For the most part, template editor is easy to use, and the library of images that are saved; helps that I don't have to keep them all on my network after they're uploaded. I find it helpful to run reports to see who is opening and clicking messages, especially when we're using email campaigns to solicit leads from CRM.
We use Zoho Campaigns to send your email newsletters and campaigns, and also our automated nurturing emails to our users and leads. Earlier we were using Mautic and ActiveCampaign for this purpose, both had problems. For Mautic, we had to lots of development and we were unable to send emails to all our contacts using ActiveCampaign as it got very costly. So Zoho Campaigns is easy to work with and also is cost effective.
Pros
Sending email newsletters and campaigns to our users and contacts
Sending automated emails triggered by user action or contact activity
Syncing with the Zoho CRM
Cons
Automation builder is a bit difficult to work with - not easy to build the workflow with the drag and drop features
Needs to have a plain text email that is left aligned like we normally send an email, we had to add code manually to do this
The footer customization is not flexible, would love to have full control on it

In an effort to consolidate the suites of programs we use for Modern Neon, we aimed to use Zoho campaigns to manage our ongoing e-mail campaigns and newsletter. Since we are a smaller organization, it is being used by the three in charged of outreach.

IF you plan on using pre-made campaign layouts, there are limits on the number available and not a large variety available.
Zoho is still working out the bugs in their system, so you may encounter random bugs that only Zoho personnel can fix.

Zoho Campaigns scenarios can feel similar to MailChimp but lack the familiarity of that clean UX. While the features may be superior, the process of activating or using them can be difficult. Without a strong technical understanding of CRM, Zoho Campaigns might be difficult to use or have a steep learning curve for new users.

We use Zoho Campaigns to manage lists and send out email marketing campaigns for an online news source. Email campaigns include requests for op-eds/essays and monthly news digests. After having trouble sending emails to large lists with other email marketing providers, we turned to Zoho Campaigns and have been impressed. Other platforms have penalized us and restricted email sending if we hit a certain amount of bounces/spam traps/etc. This has not been the case with Zoho Campaigns, which has been a lifesaver.
Pros
Email marketing
List management
Reporting
Cons
Email builder could be more robust
Subscription form setup is a bit complicated
UI is a bit dated
Likelihood to Recommend
Zoho Campaigns is great for those who already have experience with marketing automation platforms. The user interface is a bit dated, and it’s definitely not as easy to use as Mailchimp, Hubspot, SharpSpring, etc. The email builder is also not very advanced, and we’ve had the most success using uploaded HTML. However, once you learn the system, Zoho Campaigns can offer a wealth of benefits, including advanced reporting and very few restrictions on email sending.
