We currently use this software in the engineering department to replace AutoCAD in all new jobs. it has flexibility and the ability to use 3rd party software so that we can create custom templates. It also allows us to compile many things automatically like BOM's instead of manual data entry like with AutoCAD.

We use Visio for creating network design diagrams and flowcharts for planning projects and operations. It helps organize processes and represent planning in a concise graphical presentation.

We use Microsoft Visio to help with the visualisation of concepts such as business workflows and diagrams. It also helps us with mind-mapping of ideas during business workshops and discussions with customers. We chose Visio as it integrates well with other Microsoft 365 cloud applications such as Excel. Overall it has improved our documentation process.

Microsoft Visio is ideal to use for visual mapping. We primarily use it for creating organisational structure maps and process flowcharts. It provides a great easy-to-read visual for presentations or general reference. It can streamline the process by pulling data from an Excel sheet as well, or you can custom make from scratch.
