RingEX is primarily used as an organization's main phone system, facilitating both internal and external communications, with 11 of 13 reviewers confirming this use case. A notable strength lies in enabling remote work, cited by 5 reviewers, due to its unified platform accessible from various locations. The platform also delivers automation and efficiency gains, as highlighted by 11 of 13 reviewers. RingEX is our phone system. We have been virtual since 2013; before it was cool, we knew we needed a cloud-based phone system. We went through a few of them until a few years ago when our MSP recommended RingCentral. RingEX is a compelling platform for intra and inter company communication. It's a platform that manages our calls, IVR, SMS traffic, intra-company messaging, audio and video conferencing, and all of our needs.
Pros
Video calls with Outlook schedule integration.
Simple SMS and Messaging.
Excellent customer care.
Supports multiple phone vendors.
Excellent mobile and desktop app.
Cons
System administration is powerful, but doesn't think like me.
Some aspects of use in the apps require more training.

A basic phone system with all of the "extras" makes a small business look much more significant. Their growth into AI features is fantastic and can be used to reduce the effort of call management dramatically. While pretty much like all of them, voicemail is easy to work with. You'd probably need an administrator to manage personnel changes in a larger environment.
Customer support is awesome. There is always someone willing to help 24 hours a day. The reporting is better than average; and I really like all the metrics such as handle time, inbound vs outbound, and the data trends over days, weeks, months. The service is very reliable and we had more issues with our own internet service provider than with RingEX going down or stalling out on us which rarely if ever happened.
Pros
Reliabilty
Support
Service
reports
recording
click to dial
Cons
Flexibility on Contracts
contract cancellation
too many soft phone versions( desktop, Browser, CRM) can be confusing

Call Center use is great if you only have one rep but is best suited for many representatives. I don't like the instant messenger however because it can be tempting for reps to play during calling hours. As far as inter-office calling, we never needed that feature since we had separate phones for all our desks.
RingEX is our phone system at our Headquarters office. With the calling and texting abilities. it outpaces any traditional office phone. Internal messaging and embedded video conferencing solutions just make the RingEX an excellent choice for a VoIP solution. We have been using RingCentral services since 2019. Benefits include having our phone system with us wherever we are, making remote work more feasible, the mobile app gives employees another way to stay connected with the team when they are out of the office, conference calling and video meetings are embedded in a single solution.
Pros
Video Meetings
Conference Calling
Mobile Solution
Robust Admin Controls
Auto-Receptionist and Call Center tools
Cons
Connectivity
More options for call queues
More Admin tools in the mobile application
Likelihood to Recommend
This solution is well suited for small office teams or large companies with call centers. Or anyone who needs a robust VoIP system.
For people looking for a simple phone solution, there may be better options out there.

Business VOIP phone system. Have 3 staff, 3 dedicated lines, and using call routing to manage call handling during different hours of the day. Also used for internal team messaging, as well as customer texting.
Pros
Call routing
Texting and messaging
Fairly easy setup
Helpful customer service
Cons
High cost
Doesn't integrate with other platforms as well as other alternatives

RingEX is a good fit for a growing team looking to streamline their call center. Very reliable service, but at a higher cost than others. If reliability is a priority, this is a solid fit. Also, lots of ways to customize the experience. Takes a bit of technical know-how to get everything set up, but I had a mostly positive experience working with their support team to resolve issues.
Our company uses RingEX daily, and are completely satisfied with the customizability of the service. We are able to edit open/closed hours easily for holidays and days our business is closed. Calling support is never a hassle, and they have always been able to answer my questions fully and clearly within one call.
Pros
Customizability of company settings
Ability to set up multiple call queues and IVR Menus
Providing quality devices with minimal to no hardware issues
Cons
Having to upload a blank audio file rather than being able to just remove a welcome intro.
Intermittent call fwd failure (Could be user error)
Ease with setting up new call queues and settings
Likelihood to Recommend
Our company often has to change or update our settings to reflect changes, new hires, or closed dates / hours. RingEx has made it a fairly easy learning experience, and support has always been able to answer any questions I may have for them. I would highly recommend RingEx to a colleague.
We use it for our main phone needs. We don't have landlines and we love the ease of use of this product.
Pros
Customer Service
Product Support
Cons
I can't think of anything :)

We have had excellent experience with their customer service department. The ease of the chat as well as the courteous employees have been a great plus for this organization. The product works so well in our environment as we communicate with many customers and don't want to hand out our personal cell numbers.
RingEX addresses our communication needs for calling customers, receiving customer cells and messaging between employees. Use of these communications are frequent and daily. These communications allow us to be in touch with clients and be on the same page together as co-workers. Generally, this product is used often on every working weekday.
Pros
Speed
Reliability
Ease of use
Accessibility
Cons
Crashes
Access for text, video and webinar
Shared features
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited in maximizing all of the communication needs and uses necessary, it does a basic yet effective job of calling and messaging. It is less appropriate for those who are cost considerate, expect all of the features for a basic package, and expect features that are updated often.

RingEX allows me to leverage their tools to create a maximum reach telecommunications machine. I now have national presence, which includes video call conferencing, recording, webinars, soft phone system, and business recording plus interactive voice response. This is a system that is well engineered and well worth the time to set up.
Pros
Interactive Voice Response
Video Conferencing
Soft phone system
Cons
Pricing
Likelihood to Recommend
This is great for small and large businesses that need to increase their leverage and reach with an all in one system that can be modified to add on users. It really is a well thought and well engineered system that I would recommend to most people that need to upscale.
We use RingEX (RingCentral) for our office's main phone line. This way, more than one of our team members can make and receive calls at the same time. Also, it ensures that we don't miss any client or customer calls, nor leave any text messages unanswered, because there is an opportunity for a number of us to answer.
Pros
Make outgoing calls
Queue incoming calls according to user customization
Customer Service/Support
Cons
Glitches and other things that happen to hinder the effectiveness of the platform beyond the user's control
A more user-friendly and customizable interface
A quicker method for contacting support, like a live chat from the app
Likelihood to Recommend
The only reason it's not a 10 are because of some minor glitches we've experienced in the past. However, RingEX (RingCentral) Support was great about helping us solve those problems. They were timely, understood the issue(s) easily, and offered multiple effective solutions without taking a very long time in the process.
We use RingEX for our multisite business. It is wonderful to have full control of the system and how we interact with our customers. It is also great to have the RingEX app on our cell phones so that we can transfer calls from our system directly to employees who are on the go instead of at the desk.
Pros
The system is very user friendly.
Easy to create and manage call flows.
The support team is very responsive and helpful.
Cons
The biggest weakness is probably reporting. They have it, but its a bit clunky at times.
Switching phones from user to user is sometimes clunky.
Likelihood to Recommend
The only situations where RingEX may not be right for a business are if they need extensive reporting or a sophisticated autodialer. If you aren't in either of those two situations, I think that RingEX is right for you.
