PeopleDoc, later UKG HR Service Delivery, was an HR Service Delivery platform used to improve HR agility and ease compliance management. The product is to be discontinued, and will no longer be available for sale.

Unified HR Platform That Needs Some UX Love

Pros

  • PTO requests on mobile app.
  • PTO approval on mobile app.
  • Easy-to-use org chart.

Cons

  • Unintuitive UI that shows notifications without ability to take action.
  • Poor usability for goal-setting.
  • Confusing user experience for PTO requests in desktop version.

Great product- would recommend!

Pros

  • Business Intelligence Reporting with the data found in the UKG HR Service Delivery system.
  • It is very customizable to fit our company needs.
  • Many opportunities for a workflow to make employee data management more seamless.

Cons

  • Not able to submit someone to Process Hires more than once, so if they get deleted the whole process has to start from the beginning.
  • The mobile app is not as efficient or user-friendly as the desktop version.
  • Many times I have been kicked out of the application for no reason and have to log in again and with the MFA, it uses up valuable time.
  • If you go to the Onboarding Gateway once, when you leave it and then try to get back in, it forces you to log back in or else close that window and click the link again.

Good for Larger Employers, but Research!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Prior to the merger with Kronos, UltiPro (now UKG) delivered unrivaled service and superior products but I have noticed now the products are less intuitive and the service is average, at best and what was once a differentiator is now putting them on par with their competitors. We struggled with HR Service Delivery and implementing it to add value to our population, to the point we put it all on hold for over a year. We began resuming the creation of processes using this service more recently but despite having an in-house HCMS manager, the product is more cumbersome than it should be and we required significant assistance from UKG.
