At our organization, we use monday.com to streamline work organization, manage sprints, and map and allocate tasks. It addresses business problems such as task visibility, team collaboration, and project tracking. Our use case includes planning and monitoring project timelines, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring clear communication. This enhances efficiency, accountability, and timely project delivery.
Pros
Slack integration
Simultaneous editing of multiple items
Tasks visualization
Cons
Better automation
Likelihood to Recommend
Its well suited for project management and team collaboration, from the most basic activities to agile sprints and software development. Nonetheless, for basic activities it might be less appropriate due to its pricing model, where companies with tight budgets might find more value in less expensive tools that offer core functionalities at a lower cost.

I use monday.com to track project development from bidding, to billing. I use the CRM, and I also use it for asset acquisition. I track PO's for equipment needs, I track job status, assign crews, and keep historical records for types of projects, revenue, and crew utilization. I did research back in college on PM software, and monday.com was who all of my research pointed to, so when it came to finding a software to assist me in my business' day t- day, its MONDAY every day!
Pros
customizations
record keeping and exporting to other programs
CRM tracking
Crew assignments
Customer service
learning assistance for usage
Cons
Automations (ease of implimentations)
price for buckets of users could be a little less.
stop making "upgrade" such a bright button.

Specifically this software is made to allow 1 manager to track what 3 or 4 managers normally would. Reminders are simple to set so that you can check back on whatever requires your attention allowing someone to multi task throughout their day. I have however, found that billing/ invoicing, and bidding are still going to be something that I am needing to spend particular attention to. We tried to meet with some developers within the monday.com group and it was more of a "round peg/ square hole" scenario.
monday.com help us to develop/fill tools to manage in-house projects and for our customers. monday.com tools are easy to use and understand for all of us (from Junior Staff to Senior Partners - for a multidisciplinary working group). Therefore, each and everyone of us know who is working in our projects, milestones, responsibilities, resources involved, timelines, etc. Great for everyone, simple, efficient, easy, shareable on real-time and elegant.
Pros
Help to develop a detailed timeline for projects, with milestones & responsibles.
It promotes efficiency, accountability and transparency to the organization.
Keep track of resources involved in every project.
Cons
Customizable Slack alerts (not only every hour in the hour)
Better payment plans for more users (considering users that only review information)
Likelihood to Recommend
In Small-Medium Firms, where yu need to keep track and you do not have enough resources to have someone developing PM tools. When the tools will be used by many different users (from Engineers to Economist - from Seniors Partners to Interns - for Baby Boomers to centennials), with little time to learn but a lot of needs to keep a great track of the projects. Easily shareable, in real time, in many Time-Zones. Linkable with many other Office apps, like Slack.
This is used as a project management and CRM tool for the business and streamlines the processes between management and workshop staff.
Pros
allocates tasks
live updates and comments between users
reminders of due dates
Cons
links between boards on different pages
automatic emails to remind about open inquiries
simpler/ easier to customise automations

monday.com is well suited to our operation that involves many aspects to delivering projects and makes sure nothing is missed. It also allows people to be held accountable
monday.com is used by our whole Marketing team in all countries (about 100) and the global office. It is a great tool for collaboration and visibility and scheduling tasks. Also, reporting is now easier to do with projects listed all in one place and with timelines. We use the email link feature in our updates as we work with other business groups who are not yet on monday.com.
Pros
Boards for each types of activities, or by department, country etc.
Collaboration possible in one place, without bouncing between chat, file manager and email
Reporting is easy with filtering by names
Current and completed projects are visible with filtering
Cons
Nothing that I could think of, whatever I would want to change, it can be changed from our side not monday.com

We use the email link feature in our updates as we work with other business groups who are not yet on monday.com. Projects are listed in boards that can be created for different criteria: location, time, theme. Links and files can be provided within each project - all in one place, no bouncing between chat, email and file manager. Each project has a unique link for email, no need to duplicate with team members' personal addresses, even if those team members are from a different organization and are not on your monday.com platform; by inserting the link, e.g. into an outlook email everyone gets the message. Using Outlook or any other email client is not necessary either, all new messages are visible on the board each against relevant project.

Our organization uses Monday.com to collaborate between teams. I use it to assign tasks to my stakeholders, organize my tasks, identify topics for meetings, manage projects and show roadmap for projects. Monday.com has been a game changer in keeping me organized and reducing emails since I request that if someone has a request, they put it in Monday and assign to me instead of sending an email that I could lose track of. I recently added my solution architect to Monday.com and am looking forward to managing tasks outside the sprint development work. I would recommend Monday.com for anyone that wants to get organized and reduce emails.
Pros
Organized tasks by group
Shows projects on visual timeline with Gantt chart
Allows users to work together on projects and captures details in Monday task instead of email follow ups. All comments are in one place.
Cons
ability to move completed subtasks to another group, but not the main task. I need this for when I add subtasks to a meeting task.
More information about training myself on all the capabilities of Monday.com (like salesforce trailhead)

So everything is very komplex and we highly appreciate the flexibility of this software. In addition we use monday with several integrations as gmail, jotform and slack. This is very useful, cause we were able to implement a ticket system for the marketing team.

Flexibility (multiple views and types of columns)
Cons

I had a problem tracking hundreds of construction jobs across a large geographical area while maintaining pertinent information about each job. I was told about Monday in a conversation with a coworker and investigated. Monday gave me a free one (1) hour tutorial to show me how Monday could help me with my problem and it was excellent. After the tutorial I discovered that our corporate process improvement team was already using Monday. I got my account set up and have been able to download excel data from our customer and transform that information into Gant View, Tables and add columns for information that is pertinent for me but not our customer, and the nice thing is my comments stay when we update our data weekly!! Automations can be set up to archive projects upon completion, nice!! I am so glad I found Monday.
