Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Looker to build a Dashboard based on data coming from Jira. Our organization has over 50 Agile teams, and we use Looker to create analytics reports and use them on a daily basis to help drive team performance. The key metrics we use are team-wise metrics for products and services and velocity metrics for sprints. The Looker dashboard has been a primary source of information when we try to update our Leadership on the progress made by the team and help understand the capacity with which the team works.

Options to Fav the reports and use them when required.

Cons

The UI and interface are very basic and can be more modern.
The color combination looks very simple and cannot be customized in reports.

We use Looker as a reporting tool for clients. Not all clients but those where we want to be able to connect multiple data sources and more unique metrics into the one report or dashboard.

Pros

It integrates with data sources really well if you have the know-how
The dashboards provide fully interactive reports for all stakeholders
I also appreciate the ability to create custom metrics and dimensions

Cons

It's not so easy to set up with little knowledge
Predictive features would be great
Responsive reports would be great too

It cuts down the time-to-insight.

Helps non-analytical stakeholders get a better understanding of performance

I use Looker as a way to analyze web performance over time as well as quickly and easily compare performance monthly across various channels. Every website i manage is setup with Looker with the data coming in automatically and then the insights included for each major call out for easy client viewing.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Looker to build dashboards for our clients that use mainly Google products like GA4 and BigQuery. Looker is (usually) free and easy to set up using built-in connectors to Google's tools. Having a Looker dashboard is often easier to use and access than the default GA4 reports and Looker gives you the ability to add your own objectives using Google Sheet for example.

Ability to cut and paste a full page to use as a template
Add objectives or other numbers using a simple Google Sheet that can be updated easily.

Cons

Sometimes links to external data sources are breaking for no reason
The different visualizations have improved a lot over the last few years but still need some editing functions

Looker studio allows us to create custom dashboards for marketing reports. Google PPC, SEO, etc. You can get very customizable with it and use it for funnel tracking and overall marketing data tracking for a company's online presence.
