Connect Gmail and Calendar to Salesforce to increase productivity

  • Calendar scheduling link. Helps our teams book meetings, demos, and events.
  • Email and task sync between Salesforce and Google.
  • Displaying Salesforce data directly in Gmail. Very helpful to see that data when reviewing emails.

Cons

  • Dialer could be improved.
  • Would love to see some of the functionality extend to Mobile gmail and salesforce eventually.

Return on Investment

  • Increased efficiency. Scheduling and recording demos and meetings have been drastically improved with this tool.
  • Increased data visibility through the sidebar in google. Very helpful.

I use Groove, a Clari company for email templates in my roll as SDR. I use Groove, a Clari company to schedule inbound requests with the sales team.

Pros

  • customer support

Cons

  • there are instances where I include calendar dates in emails to prospects, and even after said date has passed, they can click on it to schedule a demo. This has happened several times.
  • Email logging with Salesforce has been very spotty...it works sometimes, and not others
  • I often have to uninstall and reinstall the chrome extension, so that Groove, a Clari company shows up in my Gmail

Groove Manages Your CRM For You

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Groove makes synching activity with our CRM (salesforce) very easy. It's nice to quickly grab preloaded templates to use for emails and track opens on emails! We have used different products previously and I have found Groove to be the best option out of what we have tried!

Cons

  • The calendar option for scheduling appts is a little hard to read when you have to include multiple people inside our org. Much easier to look at the calendars in outlook.
