We use Grammarly likely the same way many other businesses use it: as a tool to guide our language usage and make our communications crisp, clear and concise. The scope is largely any written communication, including email, Slack, and knowledge base articles/customer communications. It doesn't address business problems directly, per se, but it offers fine guidance.
Pros
Reduces word count for clearer sentences
Good diction advice
Filling in missing punctuation
Cons
The location of the overlay tool can be disruptive and hide text
Likelihood to Recommend
Grammarly seems well-suited for basically any written communication, especially for folks who struggle with the written word. Myself, I don't think I struggle at all, but it still manages to offer improvements on my messages, and I do find it helpful here and there.

Grammarly is one of the top 5 apps used across the organization. It is essential for salespeople prone to running fast and furious and with less of an eye for detail. With Grammarly, everyone gets tips for improvement across key applications, including email, documents, web, and mobile devices. We don't write and release any content without the support of this valuable tool. In fact, it cleaned up this paragraph for me. Over the course of several years, we went from a handful of users to an enterprise-wide approach in the US and Canada. We routinely learn from the corrections so that we become better writers every day.
Pros
Checks grammar and syntax
Offers up improved phrases
Helps with tone
Cons
It would be great if it worked in the native Teams app. If it does, I am unaware of how to engage it
It doesn't learn my tone, so AI to ensure it learns my style (show me if this is already there)
Nothing else from my view. It's solid.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is great for personal and professional writing analysis. I get value from it every day. It saves templates easily, so I can reuse quality content. It is easy to install in all the key daily apps that we use, and it certainly improves my writing across all mediums. I ask my team to use Grammarly on all emails, social posts, long-form documents, and blogs.
Writing is still a very significant portion of communication in the organization and with customers. We use Grammarly to improve all written communication (slack, documents, emails). Quickly identify and correct typos or suggest more straightforward messages in shorter communication. In a longer written format, ensure the tone is correct, the document has the proper clarity and is written according to the audience that will review it
Pros
Easily accessible in all places where one writes (websites, slack, documents)
Precise analysis and suggestions for improvements
Good AI features to increase the impact of messages
Cons
In longer documents Grammarly sometimes struggles and the review with Grammarly can take longer
The suggestions in the App and in the chrome extension don't always align and are sometimes contradictory
The notification for fixing passive voice could be better and have a suggestion immediately
Likelihood to Recommend
It is easy to use, not very intrusive, and with a short learning curve. If you make it part of your setup, your writing skills will improve; it helps and almost removes the possibility of making spelling and blatant grammar mistakes. When English is not your first language, it is a must. If you want to grow in an organization and be known for the quality of your written communication, Grammarly should be in your toolset.

Grammarly helps me write copy. I write web pages, sales pages, email copy, blogs, LinkedIn posts, etc. Grammarly helps me make sure my writing is as clear as possible and offers suggestions for how to make my writing better. It also helps me modify my tone and write in a way that speaks to the audience I'm writing to
Pros
Grammar suggestions. Grammarly is very good at identifying grammar mistakes and typos and fixing them for me
Writing analysis. I love the analysis of my writing that scores me based on how concise and clear I am
Tone adjustments. Grammarly is very good at identifying specific tones and offering alternatives that help make the ton sound better
Cons
Some grammar suggestions are too strictly enforced. Sometimes you need to break the rules for a certain tone and it's annoying when Grammarly makes deliberate grammar choices as incorrect
The Chrome extension widget can be a little annoying sometimes. I don't like that there are only a few places on the screen where you can anchor it, I want to be able to move it anywhere since sometimes it obstructs my view
Sounds too formal sometimes. Grammarly's AI suggestions make my writing overly stiff and formal sometimes
Likelihood to Recommend
Grammarly is great for most professional writing scenarios. Replying to emails and messages, writing blog posts, writing academic papers, writing webcopy, etc. I would not use Grammarly for writing fiction since the focus on grammar sometimes takes away from creative choices. You should also not use Grammarly when writing poetry for the same reason

One of the best features is how Grammarly recognizes passive voice. It’s so easy to forget that I’m using passive voice, but with Grammarly I know my writing sounds confident and direct.
Pros
Correctness
Clarity
Engagement
Passive voice detection
Tone
Vocabulary
Cons
Hiding suggestions behind a pro subscription
Sometimes you get stuck in a correction loop where it keeps trying to correct its own corrections.
I’d love for it to detect title case correctness

I think it’s appropriate for all business communications. I especially use it for all content marketing. We want to put our best foot forward with our audience. I use Grammarly for blogs, ebooks, social media posts, emails, and more.
The only time I wouldn’t use it is when I’m having casual conversation with a friend via text or email. Most text and email apps have spell check built in and that is enough for a casual conversation.

It is well suited for writing basic content without grammatical mistakes. It suggests all kinds of mistakes related to grammar and also gives suggestions regarding how you can tweak the sentence. However, it doesn't help in beautifying the content by suggesting the usage of phrases or words which are suitable for the content.
Grammarly is being used only within the Marketing team. Specifically, it's used by Content and Demand Generation. We use Grammarly to get points across more efficiently, pointedly, and in a clear/concise manner. I personally use it when I am writing emails, doing a content edit, or while working with other teams.
Pros
It's widely accessible.
Premium is a great bang for your buck.
The free trial helps ensure your buying decision.
Cons
It can take a lot of time to edit large amounts of text.
Pricing isn't very apparent and can be confusing.
The grammar isn't always the best.
Likelihood to Recommend
Grammarly can be used across all devices and has a built-in Chrome extension, so it's very easy to use. It is well suited for our Content team and less for me in demand gen, but I mainly use it to communicate with partners and the such. However, some suggestions Grammarly spits out are just plain wrong.
